it has a fairly large bore, maby .690-1, yeah real big.
The zap primer that is field paint where i play scenario games works really well because that paint is all swolen and chops like crazy. it also works surprisingly well with smaller paint.

I love my old JJ barrel its so quite and I love its range (especially on LP guns) I have had best luck with diablo Blaze, Marbs, big ball, I don't recomend 32* to much.

No way, I have the J@J ceramic and I use medium to small bore paint and it works very very well.
I cant stress very enough.

I use mine with med bore paint and it works well also. I dont know if they changed bore size or not but i can assure you the current J&J ceramics are large-bore.

I had an old style (butt ugly) ceramic that took Diablo sized paint and PMI advantage perfectly...mine was small/med bore. It shot VERY straight, and the cool thing was it was light as a feather but didn't scratch lile aluminum. Even after a newb shot sand through it, I was able to sell it as "like new" because there were no scratches.
Still a butt ugly barrel, but now they come in black.
It's probably the best 1 piece barrel I've ever used, especially for the money.

I just got my 12" Ceramic for 29.99 (before shipping), and I noticed it is a darn large bore, marbz slip right through. I heard PMI premiums were bigger, anyone try em'?

Actually, the Ceramic is designed to be .689-.691 (medium-large) bore. It was also created based on RPS paints. J&J decide Marbs, All stars, and the like would become the dominant paint in the game, so the barrel was designed for them. Oddly, I used RPS Super Swirl and they slid right though. I have heard of some people having defective barrels- some that read as high as .704 of a bore micrometer, and I want to get mine checked. It definitely does live up to it's promises of quietmess. My gun quieted down considerable after getting one. It's hard for me to discuss it's self cleaning qualities though since ive never broken one in it yet, and thats better than the best self cleaning barrel.

J & J Ceramics are very good barrels for the money. I have one on my Spyder TL Plus and it shoots very straight with PMI Premiums. I would definitiely suggest this barrel and it's price is at a GREAT value.
