What's a bottom line or bottom line kit? Why would one want to have it(or not have it)? Thanks.

A bottom line is the gas hose connecting your ASA (air source adapter, what you screw your tank into) and your marker. Available hoses are stainless steel, macroline, and microline, but most bottom line kits include stainless steel hose as it's the best for high pressure operation (most low-end markers like Spyders, Tippmanns, etc.).
You would want a bottomline if you wished to have your tank horizontal instead of vertical, useful for steadying on your shoulder for a more stable and accurate shot.
