OK, Brass Eagle is always underfire because the stuff is CRAP. But Honestly, think back... way back... How many of you started with a Brass Eagle product? Im willing to bet that alot of you did. Weather it was a TALON (me) a STINGRAY I (me again) or II or a Raptor (me... this is getting sick...) or even a RAINMAKER (i got out by then, :)). VOTE AND REPLY! or at least VOTE!

Man, I feel OLD. I started back in the day when BE didn't exist. Find the thread called "how many guns" or Name your guns or something, I have a list of all the guns I've owned and only one (on a dare) has been a BE.

My first was a Stingray 1, but I modified it a bit with some cheap stuff from the local hardware store. Hehe.. I bottomlined it, and made a foregrip. Then the bottle faced forward and attached underneath the foregrip. What a POS... but oh the memories :)

Then I got a Model 98, and now I have an intimidator.

a stingray is a stingray, no matter how many upgrades you get it will still suck and fall apart on a regular basis. :p

I remember the first words of wisdom when I asked what gun I should buy the reply was "anything except a brass eagle should be good"

When I went paintballing today, one of my friends went for his first time with us. He used someones stingray, and it actually wasn't that bad. A little inaccurate, but no major disadvantages. Of course none of us had great guns either, just tippmans with stock barrels, or piranhas.

i started out with a talon after i barrowed one of my friends. and i still use my talon it is a back up for my millenium, which is a back up for my 98, which is a back up for my cocker, which is a back up for my mag. so it doesnt see that much play unless we play pump. the goal i am working on now is out shooting a 9 volt with my talon

I was lucky. I was the last of my 4 best friends to get into paintball. One of them had a NelSplat 007 (too slow), and the others had Talons (Always broken, inaccurate, etc...)

I had another friend who had a Mag. He pushed me in the right direction (AWAY from B.E.) and I ended up getting a Maverick Deluxe as my first gun, which I still own and love.

I used a Talon for one game, then i baought my spyder and then my M98, does that really count it wasnt even a game, i took on another kid with a talon in 6 incheds of snow and we never hit each other anyways, plaes say it doesnt count

Edit 1- Did I mention I acctualyl wanted a Spyder first, my mom wanted the cheap one, hell until christmas morning i thought it was a Spyder.

I never regreted that. That tigershark is still kickin' and it's never been cleaned! Who says all Brass Eagle products suck?

I started with a pgp. I wish I had kept it. I can still remember the extreme fear you felt while switching out the co2. With the noise it made, eveyone knew you were doing it and would race to gun you down.

ummmmm My first was a brasseagle (aka.Crap Eagle)
it was the talon ghost pump. $35. how cheap.
then a few months later I got my shutter and when I get a bit older I am gonna get a good electro and join a tourney :)
For christmass I am gonna put money in and get an electro lika the em1 or something electro like the e-matrix or get all addons for my shutter like, e-lcd, nitrotank, newhopper,dropfoward and more

Yep I did. My first paintball gun was a Stingray II that my parents bout me for my 16th birthday, and I actually still use it sometimes when playing rec games w/ my friend in his backyard. My next gun was a Raptor Silver Eagle. Sucked @$$. It broke 2.5 weeks after I bought it. But now I have my Spyder, which kicks much more than any B.E.

Yes, a BE Silver Raptor was my first marker, it was a gift. After getting my butt kicked all over the field by better markers, I got a Prolite and then a Shutter.
