I air up my gun and it hardly cycles lpr is at full pressure and reg pressure is at 200! What do I do?! (LPR is on VA)

Isn't the solenoid not supposed to get anythin more than 180 psi? That may be the prob, that you blew your solenoid out.

The LPR keeps it from blowing.mAnd I just swaped it with a tapeworm and it cycles fine. With the Lpr on it cycles like it doesn't have air. HHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

Sorry, I thought you meant the LPR was at 200. Well try adjusting your LPR, it may be starving the solenoid.

The LPR was at full pressure. I would really like to have my LPR for tommorow but if worse comes to worse I'll just have to use a tapeworm.:(

ok, the first thing you need to do is stop panicing...

When you adjust your LPR, I assume it's a ANS right? I didn't read your sig before I started this. IF it is, all the way up is all the way screwed in.

The best I could tell you to do is to break the LPR down, take the hoses off, take it off the VA, and take the air inlet nipple back out of the hole and then rebuild it all back up. If you have a way to test your LPR to see if there is acctually coming out then do it.
What I would suggest is remove the hose from the nipple on the marker and see if air gushes out of there when you gas up.
If that's all clear and stuff then reconnect it all, gas it up slowly, and be sure and double check very slowly that you got everything installed correctly. Rush things and you might skip over something.

Other than that, you'll have to wait until later tonight for someone smarter to get one. I'm sure it's a simple oversight, or it might be a faulty LPR.

It is an ANS and I did take it apart and put back together but I'll try to check the air coming from the hose.

I found out the problem. My ANS act backwards, I screwed out the adjustment screw then air started to come out. How do I fix that?

First off.... I don't understand that last sentence or what you're trying to say...

Secondly, how does your LPR problem stand as it is now?

My jackhammer 2 LPR adjusts contrary to how their supposed to. The way there supposed to work is you screw the adjuster in and more more pressure comes as a result. You unscrew it and decreases pressure. The one I just bought acts totally the opposite way. In for less out for more(pressurewise). I have a feeling someone assembled it wrong at the factory and want to know how to fix it. It works fine, it's just... backwards:freak:

That's okay... I suppose.

I'd get it back to normal when I found someone who could strip and rebuild it, I would.

That's what I'm looking for. Someone who knows how to rebuild it.

I am not exactly sure how the Jackhammers work, but if it's like the inline regs then I don't understand how it's possible for it to work "backwards".

did you readjust your dwell at all?

Last night I was going out of my mind. I was too quick to come to conclusions. When I screwed the LPR adjustment knob all the way in, little to no air came from the nipple, then when I backed it out some, more and more pressure started to come out. I came to the conlusion that it worked backwards, but when I backed it out all the way no air came out. So the thing is is that the end of my LPR's "pressure range" topped out when two or so threads were still showing(in other words it doesn't screw all the way in without it losing pressure) I don't know if this normal or not so can someone please fill me in?

One more thing. Today it was sort of a hassle to adjust my LPR because it was jumping +/- 10 fps, add to the fact that if you hardly touch the adjustment knob and the velocity would go up or down 20 fps, so for the sake of quickness I just set the Max-Flo pressure to 200, dwell at 0, and LPR to adjust velocity. I tried to adjust it FOM's way but like I said velocity was all over the place but maybe I'll try again later. The point I'm trying to reach is, about how long till the LPR breaks in?

an lpr should take 2-4 cases to break in properly, but you should not have that kind of variation to start with.

I am afraid that your lpr has some kind of major problem (by major i mean, it is the kind of problem that i would need the lpr in my hands to diagnose) I can think of a couple of things that it could be, but they are unlikely, and again, i would need to test the lpr myself to find out.

The best thing to do is to take the lpr to someone who knows what they are doing, ie send it back or give it to your local shop. I am sorry that i can't help you any more, its just really confusing when you don't have something in front of you.

So it's the LPR's fault? I ordered it from e-paintballoutlet ( I have a RAT) so I should probably send it back. I'm going to be gone on a two week vacation for the holidays and liked to have fixed by the time I get home. If you have a vague idea what the problem could you please atleast tell me for the sake of knowing it? I don't think my pro shop would know what to do but I can try.

it could be one of a lot of things, most probably it is a faulty part inside the lpr

like i said, i am not sure what, but the best thing to do would be to return the whole thing (imp+lpr) back to epbo and see what they can do, i mean, they know all there is to know about imps and lprs

I had the RAT since August so I know it's not the gun's fault. I already talked to Walt and told him what happened and he just said to send the LPR back and he'd send a new one.(Walt didn't seem to have objections to the LPR being faulty)
