I don't even understand how they shoot so little. I'd understand if it was a 3 man tourney, but 5 man, i'd say allow at least an extra pod. I couldn't stand worrying about rationalizing my paint and how my supply is holding up during the game. I guess there's more strategy involved on how u split up the paint and when to shoot.

well i dont know considering all the circuts around here dont have that , but i would imagine its more for rookie teams it keeps it a little more fair or something i dunno....

I've played predominately limited paint tourneys (Albeit, I've only played in 3 tournaments total, but I sure paid attention, in two of them...)

Anyway, in my experience the games tend to be under 5 minutes, mostly under 3, and they're pretty agressive. People usually take the tapelines and just go ape on anything in their way. Speaking from a backplayer's point of view, all I really did was shoot, without really taking regard for how much I was shooting - keeping in mind that one backplayer in a limited paint game doesn't do all the shooting - there is also a midplayer and another backplayer, at least on our team. (I use those terms loosely in relation to myself, I was a pretty up-front backplayer... lol...)

But yeah, if all you've ever played is limited paint, it doesn't seem too hard.

(Seems like, though, that my first unlimited tourney is going to be a bit of a shock... mass slaughter)

hopper ball ,in pan am you take 200 balls out on the field in pods. after that you can give paint to your back players etc. keep 100 give your mid or back player 100. Hopper ball played with 5 man or less. 10 man is 500.
In pan am its in all classes not just rookie.

actully thats not true 5 man is still 200 rounds but for affliates Dan Bonebreak has given the affiliate tournaments their option of either making it an unlimited or limited paint event. All Pan Am majors for the 5 man are limited
