I am wondering if anyone knows what the rear bolt is made out of on the LP kit. Also if anyone has it or happens to know the mass or weight of it. Units don't matter I can convert. Also the tension of the hammer spring. Thanks.

It's the same metal (I think steel, but I'm not certain) as the regular bolt. It just has some holes drilled into it, and it doesn't have that aluminum insert.
I don't know about the rest though. Can I assume that you are planning on making your own LP kit?

Yes, its goin to be slightly different than the real one though. I am going to try and make the hammer delryn with maybe a steel insert, buy the regular LP valve spring, and then go from there testing different hammer springs. I am also going to modify the stock valve for more air flow.

That would be pretty cool. I'm guessing that you could use the stock aluminum insert so the drive spring has a guide, or you could use the stock rear bolt and drill it out to make it lighter, and make an insert to allow the stock type drive springs to be used.

Yea I decided on drilling four more holes in the stock rear bolt, then lathing the front so it is almost the same as the LP bolt. Then I am going to maching a delrin insert to replace the aluminum one. I still and going to try to make a delrin bolt for less friction.
