Between the 2k and 2k1 there's almost no difference, but there are some design differences between the 99 and the 2k1. I'm not sure on specifics; I've never owned a cocker. But it would be harder to find parts for a 99 than a 2k1. I'd just go with the 2k1; you can get them for $325 at http://www.paintballgeeks.com

On a side note, don't buy any cockers made before 99. They were all crap until then.

You definantly want the 2000 or 20001. Parts on them have been made larger to allow better gas flow and allow more regulated gas to be in the gun at a time. Which means that it can run on a lower pressure, easily 100 psi. I would guess probably around 200 psi. Because I have heard older cockers run around 400 psi and my new 2000 cocker runs at 200 psi.

if you ever want to get your cocker milled, you would want a 99 body because they don't have the fake pump arm slot on the left side, so it would look better. 2k1 cockers are lighter, and have lighter back and front blocks, they have the gem thingy and are that matte black color. thats about all i can think of.
