never close one eye to aim, always keep both eyes open. When you close one eye, you reduce your field of view and create a blind spot.

Basically all that article said (like half the articles in most paintball mags) was the obvious. Things like: *don't get tunnel vison; *keep your head 'up' and be aware of your surroundings; *have your back player watch out for you; etc. I don't have it handy, but I remember reading it and thinking, wow, wish I'd got paid to type that.

My best advice to not get bunkered though is be very aware. One thing that most people often overlook is sound. If you're the last guy left, and you hear someone break off in a sprint towards you, well, your arse is about to be bunkered. So, I always walk up to my bunker victims. Sure, I get lit up sometimes if they pop out that side and I'm in the open, but it does look a lot more stylish ;). Also, avoid favoring one side of a bunker. Try to NEVER let more than an inch or two (preferrably none) protrude from a bunker side. If the bunkerer sees this, he's going to run to the other side, and if you attempt to swing, your barrel will hit the bunker. It's kind of funny to see someone as they realize they're about to be bunkered swing their gun into the bunker, effectively screwing themselves over.

I prefer to just peg the side of their bunker so they don't hear me running

Never never never never never never never stop popping out from random spots on your bunker!!!!!! If you keep going right, the bunkerer will get ya on the left. If you hide in your bunker the bunkerer will think your gun is broken, or your out of paint, and get ya. Tuck in, shoot from all angles, and never hide.;)

If u hear a gun noise getting louder, or closer, then that usually means someone is coming at u. If ur playing sup air and u hear the balls hit the bunker with rising intenstity then ur also bout to get bunkered.

when this happens just get up and RUN AWAY! getting hit in the back while running away hurts a lot less than getting hit in the throat at close range

I've never seen this done, but I've heard of people doing it. If you have a good idea which side the guy is going to bunker you on, you're suppose to pop out the other side right before he comes around so as you come out his head is already back there ready for where you should be. Then you proceed to shoot him =0!

always look around for people moving when you snap shoot. and pop out of different places. jsut make sure that you know were everyone is. don't stay behind the bunker without look around unless you have someone eles looking for you

The easiest way to get bunkered to not be paying attention. Make sure your teammates are keeping you posted on where the opposing team is if you can't look. Sometimes situations happen where if you go to the side to see if anyone is creeping up, youll get lit up. Communication, observation and coordination will prevent a bunkering!

dont be the last person and be in a tower. Also never stop shooting, not a lot of people move up when your spraying paint at em.

As soon as you make a move for a new bunker, get focused and start shooting right away. So many people will rush into a bunker and wait a few seconds to get their bearings..that's a good time for bunkerin.
