I'm going to order the 2002 all american, but what front is better, the all-american front or the freak front the only differnce is the porting. Which ones is more accurate which one has a beteer change which one would be best for a spyder shutter??

what I can't seem to understand about you people is if you want to buy an All American barrel wouldn't it make since for you to buy the All American tip for the barrel that is called the All American? What you are looking for if you want the AA mixed with the tear drop is the big daddy. Seriously though the All American is much more quieter and accurate than the tear drop. I know from experience, plus I think the all american has a better look anyways:) .

No its not. What would make the all american more accurate than the teardrop?

Not sure. All I know is from personal experience, which differs from person to person, that the All Americean is more reliable and quiet. Sorry if I forgot to include that it was from my own experience :) .

Both tips on the AA 2002 perform identicaly. There may be a slight difference in LP markers and quietness (The AA isn't to great for LP, the Teardrop is better, but the AA does have a bit more porting). But, there isn't any difference in accuracy.

I dont know what kind of barrels you have been using, but the all american is not more accurate than the teardrop.

Actually the AA is more accurate then the teardrop. This weekend I played with a 03 cocker with a freak front and a 02 with a AA front, and the AA was quiter and more accurate. I don't know why, but has anyone else noticed that the 12inch AA isn't exactly 12 in.

]Actually the AA isnt more accurate than the teardrop, both barrels are honed the exact same way, the only difference is the porting and the fact that the all american is a 2 piece barrel. Neither of those factors will result in the all american having more accuracy than the teardrop. So you are wrong.

This weekend I played with a 03 cocker with a freak front and a 02 with a AA front, and the AA was quiter and more accurate. Dude once again, the freak front and all american front are honed the exact same way, the all american just has more porting, the more porting will not result in a more accurate barrel. You are wrong again.

WRONG! There is a differemnce in accuracy, children! Freak tip has better porting, but since it was designed for the Freak, not AA, it is .700 bore! AA is .690 bore, but has worse, less efficient.

WRONG! There is not a difference in accuracy, the porting does not make any difference at all, and both frons have .7 bore sizes. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT
