oil the striker too. also, put a couple of drops into the bottomline, take off your barrel and gas up and shooot maybe 20 shots. THat will send the oil evenly into the valve and lpc, providing well oiled internals. You should do that every day that you play. make sure to take off teh barrel though

no....don't put any through your line...it will ruin the stock regulator....it is clearly stated to not use oil in it....(I have no idea why...never took it apart.....I will if and when UPS decides to deliver the damn thing)....

oil your bolt o-rings...
oil your striker and striker o-ring
oil your striker buffer

and you should be all set...

and when ever you take you gun apart always oil any o-rings before re installing....

I know ...I was surprised myself...I just don't want to take it apart to see what kind of reg it is and find out (maybe ) why , until my new one gets here....in case I screw it up....but yeah....all other regs tell you to oil them...but kingman says..no....go figure....

well what I did was kinda like the kind of trigger job I have on my 45.....I drilled and tapped a hole in my trigger and ran a set screw through...so I can adjust the over travel on my trigger...I really have no front slack or I would put another set screw in the frame behind that little tab at the top of the trigger....I will screw around with the sear probably over the weekend....but to tell you the truth I pretty happy the way it is right now...but you know...never leave a good thing alone.....HA HA

okay here goes.. Being a welder i know a few things about regulators...

Ok first of all, oiling a regulator WILL NOT kill it..

OILING THE PRESSURE gauge will kill it..

just because the GAUGE says use no oil, doesn't mean the reg doesn't or shouldn't need it..

and co2 gas has water in it... what is the difference in running oil or co2 throught your reg, easy water will kill it first..

it is safe to use VERY VERY little oil in your regulator input, i suggest 1 -3 drops FROM A PRECISION OILER.. it's a small bottle with a OILING NEEDLE (like a syringe) made especially for oiling bearings, available at hobby or tool shops for cheap.

my bad here on the second post, but your trigger stop, there is a much better way to do that, what you did weakened the trigger, because it got heated when you drilled it, and cross sectionaly you removed material... (god sometimes being a metal worker gets the best of you)

I did the same, only using a metal piece of small gauge bar (music wire) to stop the trigger, where it meets it's tension spring.

I know about the music wire mod.....but I choose to do it this way...and the pic makes the set screw look bigger than it really is......and I can always replace the trigger....
and do it another way,,,,

I could have also put it on the frame behind the trigger.....

more than one way to scramble an egg.....right...

if the trigger breaks...I will keep this all in mind....LOL

if your like me, you play with a light finger anyways.. i doubt it will break, but that mod certainly makes it more of a posibility. Oh, one more thing to ad... ALMOST ALL GUN MAKERS oil there assemblies in ONE way or another, assembly lube, parts sitting in a oilly bag, something.. there is always some sort of oil or lube there.

haha yeah..i'm more of the insane pound on the trigger kind of person..that's why i chose the music wire mod instead of the adjustable trigger stop...i would be afraid taht i might strip the trigger stop from the hole or something..hehe :D
