Ordering my 1st marker from Canada

Ok, I live in the UK and I was planning to get a Spyder 2000 from http://www.paintballplanet.co.uk seeing as it was the best price I could find and wouldn't have to pay shipping from the US. It now turns out that they stopped selling these, and now sell the Shutter, which is damn expensive IMO. ( £285 for the marker on it's own, previously they were selling the 2k in a combo with mask, gas, hopper etc. for £260)

I'm not prepared to pay that much, but fortunately I'm visiting some Canadian relatives in Toronto this summer, and I'll be able to have something delivered to them for me to pick up. Here are a few questions:

• What site should I order from? I need something with good prices and is considered reliable. Will a US site charge extra to deliver to Toronto?
• Could I do better than the 2k, with a marker like the TL+? I had my eyes on the 2k as it was the only one I could find in the UK (how ironic)
• How big will the box be? I need to take it home somehow and might need to leave space in my suitcase.
• When I get it, is there anything I should do first. I don't think I'm going to use it in Canada, but if I do, I need to oil it up right?

Since I posted this I have found what I think to be well priced Spyder 2K's and Tl+'s ($320) at http://www.badlandspaintball.com, any people here have experience with them?

the box wont be big at all unless u order a package with a mask etc. if u are lookin at the tl plus visit xpaintball.com because the have it for around $150 usd

i would follow the manual with the gun and oil befor u use it, u will be highly satisfied with a kingman spyder

badlands are known for over pricing there products, http://www.paintballmayhem.com/enter.html have spyder 2k for $349 canadian but i dont know if they are still doing bussiness you might want to email them first before you order.

Thanks for all the info so far, I think I'm going to go for Badlands seeing as I can visit the shop and get a feel for the guns to decide betweeen a 2k and TL+. If Badlands over prices, then paintballmayhem is charging even more, $30!

http://www.nt.net/paintball/orders.htm is $10 cheaper but like I said I won't be able to play about with the real thing first.
