i was playing today, and my friends little brother was playing with us for the first time. He went into a hollowed out log, a yellow jacket wasp got into his glove and bit stung him 3 times in the hand. at first we were telling him to suck it up and get inot position and play. but then his hand started shacking. first thing i did was ask him if he was alergic, he said he had never been before. well, we tried iceing his hand, that didn't work, he started breaking out in hives and we threw him with all his clothes on into a cold shower. he started having problems breathing, and we had to call the ambulance. they gave him 2 shots, and took him to the hospital. i haven't yet heard on his current situation, but my mom who is a doctor said he should be fine by the time he gets to the hospital, if we hadn't called for help, he could have died from not being able to breath, or could have had permenent nervous system damage. so to u guys out there i have to say this......take care of each other, be careful, and don't take any injury as a joke, it could get serious, called for a professional, don't try to handle things yourselves and be aware, this is summer and there are a lot bees, snakes, spiders, ect. out there.watch out

I've played on a field that had pecocks running around on it. Boy it was tempting to paint one of those guys....but I didn't.

A week ago we had a foal bunkered down in the middle of the field.

He wasn't there, we walked back to the staging area to reload, came back for a game and found him as the two skirmish lines met. One guy chased the foal but hooves are faster than feet.

I haven't seen any wildlife when I've been out. I've seen a helluva lot of mosquitos though! dang! Also today there was a horde of four wheelers and dirt biks that came driving right past our paintballin' area.

right on man, i am all about the saftey thing, never take any small injury for granted. Man, i was playin this once, and one of my opponents was sneaking through the woods towards our base, and i had a perfect sight on him and shot him directly in the temple(didn't mean to but the ball raised a little in the air. Man, he went down like a sack of potatoes, and i RUSHED over to him to see if he was okay, cause that easily could have killed him if he wasn't wearing his mask...man that was the most scared i have ever been.
