someone sent this to me claiming it is a Nerve, tell me what you think

Yes that is the Nerve. I think it looks like an angel with an SP touch...all i have to say is that im sure it will be one of the top guns on the market.

I would rather have one of the new shockers....man they are sweet!!!

I really hope they make new triggers, that's almost as big as my hand... and the trigger guard is huge... my only quarles with it.

their will be an aftermarket frame and a fatter trigger. But for me since my hands are small i'll be ok

MacDaddy: at our field when i was taking courses to become a tech the employee of Smart Parts had one of those hard shell gun cases with locks on it and he let me fire it 5 times

Those new shockers look very Maglike with a Smart Parts touch...

Still sweet though. That nerve looks even bettER!

i thought that was the new 2003 shocker! and i think it is cause if it isnt it is really similar in comparison to their website. here is the link.

Thats the 03 shocker, that looks almost exactly like what you say is the nerve?

I'll give you a clue: you know how the only "new" stuff on the 2k2 impulse was the cricket board and the front cap well if nothing much happened to the 2k2 then the 2k3.................

differences between 03 shocker and nerve pics.
Nerve looks stacked tubed and is taller in the back.
Shocker looks like it is one tube now (though I'm sure it's not).
Nerve frame back sits on the back of the marker, shocker is foward slightly, an inch or two.

Nerve is curved on top like angel, shocker is flat.

Nerve has LPR adjustment on front(guessing that's what it is), shocker doesn't.

Shocker has the shocker symbol on the side, as well as what looks like a ball detent fwoard of the feed tube.
Nerve only has ball detent.

Nerve is also shorter. (trigger is flush with back almost, and has less than a inch between foregrip. Shocker is an inch or two off the back and has same distance between grip, which are both near flush with front.


These are just base observations on the external look of both. Measurements and claims may be wrong and edit's might be made in the future, if there are any correctings, correcting me politely in a PM is best way.

the new 2k3 impulse i have not been told when it will be released yet.

Same price ($499 MSRP, $400 online) if they make major changes to it for 2k3, prolly look for a price drop if they leave it about the same as the 2k2

since theres supposed to be dramatic changes to the 2k3 imp then does that mean the 2k2 and olders are gonna be cheaper and find awesome deals on them?!
