Can you switch from compressed air to nitrogen, if you have the proper tank. Example: You're at a field and they don't have CA, but they do have N2, can you just put N2 in even if you were just using CA? Will this damage the marker?
Thanks:)

Uh... don't N2 and CA use the same tanks? And isn't compressed air mostly nitrogen anyway since that's what our atmosphere contains most of? Anyone wanna correct me? It shouldn't hurt anything or be much of a change at all. :D

yea... same thing...
pure n2 is pretty rare to find for fills... and its only a tiny bit more consistant than HPA... which is 70% nitrogen...
won't hurt anything...

in the paintball world, nitrogen and compressed air are synonyms. You'll be fine.

Lets assume this guy means Co2 to Nitro, can it be done with just the simple switch of a nitro tank in place of a c02 tank? Or does he (or I for that matter) need a reg, and other crud of that nature?

yes... you need nothing but the preset HPA tank...
a regulator will help quite a bit though...

And Preset means....?
is it the 3000 and 4500 psi thing?

preset means the output pressure of the tank... high pressure(800 or so psi) and low pressure(400 or so)...
depending on your setup... you need either HP or LP output for your tank...
