I have a Spyder Compact Deluxe with stock barrel.

I'm on a budget.

I'm seriously considering the 32 Degrees Terminator barrel.

It has tons of really good reviews, and is very cheap.

I use NitroDuck balls, should I get it?

No, dont get it 32* makes bad barrels, get a dye xcel for 37 dollars at www.pbgear.com

agree. thats a good price for an xcel although if you can find a CP one piece or j&j ceramic for around $40 i would get that.

Only reason i suggested the xcel over a cp barrel is because the xcel has a larger bore size(slightly) and its able to take more paints than the cp. Although you can get a .69x cp barrel these days, i just dont knwo any online store to buy them at.

Are you sure?

The Terminator has way better reviews on this site.

The Excel is more expensive...some people say that their stock barrel shoots farther, and other people say that it curves and stuff. Plus it's only 14''

Are you positive I should go with the Excel?

I need some more opinions.

OK, I've been looking around.

What about a Smart Parts Progressive barrel?

-Good distance/accuracy
-Looks nice (I can get it in red so I'm happy)
-Supposed to be quieter than a stock barrel

The only bad thing I heard about it was that the ports are hard to clean, but that's OK.

I'm seriously thinking of this one...

Smart parts barrels kinda suck too, i used to have on on my impulse, it wasnt that good.

Dude, let me tell you from past experiences, the xcel is a very popular barrel around here i know about 6 people who have one, they are on tippys spyders and cockers, and it shoots nice and accurate on every gun. I HIGHLY recomend it.

the rating a product has dosent mean jack. the reviews are full of biased numbers and different standards so if you want the full use of reviews, you must read individual reviews that are not biased (judgement here).

i would stay with the xcel if you ever go to fields that use larger paint, if you play at one field consistantly, try to match their paint to the size of the barrel you get.

Yeah, the reviews are crappy, cause they're written by a vast majority of biased, limited-knowledge "users"

Get the Xcel.

Alright, I will probably get the Xcel, but not for a while, I'd like to use my stock Compact for a while and get into paintball better before I put any money into it besides paint and Co2 fills.

-Thanks

I would reccomend JJ Ceramic or CP 1 piece over the Xcel because the Xcel is large bore and large bore paint is the least used although it's a nice barrel. What kind of paint do you use? That will make your decision for you.

I see you are on a tight budget so check out there sweet deals.

They are out of stock now but maybe they will be back in stock soon. $15 for a boss progressive, & $25 for a 12" All American I believe.

I use NitroDuck, and from what I read the Xcel is medium bore.
