I had a buddy who was *HUGE* into paintball when it FIRST started. He had mad cash and bought everything paintball related that he could find.
One day I'm at his house, and he pulls out this *HUGE* PVC pipe, about 3" dia. It had a trigger on it, and a cap with a bycycle pump attachment and guage. He tells me that it's his new Paintball cannon! :eek:
It was pretty crazy, so we took out to the Alameda (CALI) painball place and I'm hiding in this bunker with him. The flag is on top ofthe bunker and the cannon is filled with 30/40 painballs that are just laying in the tube, so you had to store it upright. We put a *HUGE* amount of pressure on it and sat and waited. Our team pretty much sucked and pretty soon it was just me and Richard.
I'm looking out the little firing port, thinking about the end as the other team starts coming out of the woodwork. They know we're the only ones left and are getting pretty cocky. There was a pretty well worn path up to the bunker and they were pretty much just strolling up. (Back then, you could just about dodge paint coming at you.)
So Richard shoulders this thing, screams "DIE COMMIE SCUM BAGS!" (He was an older guy) and pulls the trigger. Well everyone down range freezes, because this isn't what they were expecting. All of the paint broke in the barrel and this *HUGE* amount of paint comes spraying out of the thing like a paint flame thrower. He hits like 4 people and then i start firing like mad... we won, and that thing was crazy!
