Not Too Shabby

I play mostly rec ball at a local wooded field and there is one thing that is really starting to get to me. We play a lot of attack and defend games, usually 5 v 5, where team work is important. Most of the guys there are younger (like 12-16) and won't listen to a dang word that the team captain says!!! It really makes me mad because what we end up having instead of a coordiated attack are 4 teen-age rambos running around trying to be heros.
Last week we were playing such a game, and I decided to rush a fort with my partner. We were doing good and advancing fast untill my partner took a suprise shot to the head. This left me alone behind a bunker. Three experienced players were firing at me from the fortress. I decided to wait for some kids on my team to attack from the other side and distract the defenders. All of a suddden i hear leaves rustling behind me!! It's the kids walking around about 200 yards away from the fort!! Come to find out, they got scared and ran away. Needless to say, I tried to evacuate my bunker and got lit up.
I can understand newbies getting confused, but there is no excuse for "experienced players" to act in such a way. Im not saying this because im a bossy control freak (I rarely take the lead role because I consider myself a rookie) but enough is enough.
I was just wondering how some of you guys deal with such individuals when trying to plan an attack or ambush without sounding like a bossy smart-*** who "knows-it-all".
