whos the one with the accent?

OK i was wondering it just occured to me by reading the thread with leper and him being british and all. Which country speaks the real english? Do we have the accent or do they? I guess it makes sense that they speak the original tongue or english so wouldnt that make us the ones with the wierd accents?

That, my friend is EXACTLY it. Logically speaking our English (some Canadians, and Northern Americans) is the essence of the language as seen by the "singy songy" example :).
