You get an test kit.
The test kit goes in place of the hammer assembly and you can see what your LPR is set at when you install it.

The hammer assembly has to be removed from the bushy. You get a piece that has a gauge on it that is put in place of the hammer assembly. This allows you to view the pressure from the LPR. You can then adjust your LPR to the desired setting. Usually this is between 80-90psi. Once you have the reg adjusted to the desired pressure you remove the tester and reinstall the hammer assembly.
You dont have to have this test kit to make the bushy work. It does however give you a very good tool for trouble shooting. You can adjust your LPR without the test kit, but you wont know exactly where you LPR is set at. This can lead to first shot drop off, inconsistancies from shot to shot, damage to the hammer assembly from high input pressure., damage to the solenoid from high input pressure, etc...
There are two different ways to adjust the bushies LPR without the test kit.
The first method involves the following
1) With gas on the marker turn the LPR adjustment knob counter clockwise, while shooting the marker, until the bolt will not recock.
2) Turn the LPR clockwise until the bolt recocks. Cycle the marker a couple times to make sure the bolt recocks each time.
3) If the marker recocks after being cycled turn the LPR clockwise a half turn. If it doesnt recock go back to step 2 and repeat the process.
Second method.
1) With gas on the marker turn the LPR clockwise until you hear the marker leak from the back of the gripframe.
2) Turn the LPR Counter clockwise until the leak is gone.
3) Cycle the marker and inspect for leak in rear of gripframe.
4) If no leak is heard turn the LPR knob a half turn counter clockwise. If the marker is still leaking go back to step 2.
