with vertical feed, some serious blowback can occur...had that problem with my Worrgames BOSS...but with my ol' spyder with powerfeed i had no such problems...basically it helps prevent to some extent blowback in my experience

i like vertical feed because it feeds faster and power feed makes the marker un-balanced

I like power feeds , but thats just what I like. Reason is you can tuck in tighter to a bunker than with a vert.

Vert feed is mathematically proven to be faster feeding given there is no blowback, however on some markers there IS blowback therefore its not necessarily faster.

However I still prefer it due to the fact that you can shoot at angles (i.e. your gun being angled 45 directions it will still feed) whereas side feed will not. I also find my cocker a lot more balanced if it had vert feed vs my damned r/f :(

Vert feed also allows better tucking into bunkers since if ur shooting in either direction u can slightly tilt the hopper to hide behind the bunker, whereas with a right feed shooting left is no problem (the feed is naturally hidden) but shooting right you have a huge hopper sticking out and if u try to angle it to hide it, it wont feed...

Hmm.... my spyder has a powerfeed and my RAT has a vertical feed. I like both, but I think the vert feed feeds a little faster. :)

I like vertical feed more based only on looks and the fact you don't need elbows.

I shoot a powerfed blowback. One of my friends had a vertical feed STS and bought a new PF body because he hated it so much.

Doesn't matter. I don't mind shooting either.

vert feed is better i think it does feed better and faster and it also makes the gun more balanced

One thing I like about the powerfeed on my spyder is that I can turn the feed off, which is a nice extra level of saftey. I do, however, prefer the look of a vert feed.

See, yes, with very you DO get faster feed, better balance and a smaller profile when going out the side of a bunker.

BUT with Power you get-- no blowback, and (say you have p/f left) if you go out the right side of the bunker, you get LESS hopper exposure then with a vert. (but if you go out the left side, you get more, so it's a win-lose situation).

I like my R/F Cocker, because if you tilt the gun to the left a little, you get a pretty fast feed rate.

When I get my mag, I'm getting it p/f, and I think I'm going to get a powerfeed shocker. BUT, I might sellout to the evil evilness of verts. I don't know.

Vert feed all the way. I've used them both, and I definately prefer vert feed.
