I just bought a 2k1 used imp yesterday. It shoots really well. The trigger pull is nothing! I had a problem yesterday when testing it tho. I did the O-ring trick on the reg.. It worked but alot of air still escaped. Is there anyway(anything) I can buy for my gun or tank, like an on/off? I use a PE 68/3k.

You can get on/offs that go onto drop-forwards. That is what I have on mine. Also SmartParts makes a on/off that just screws onto the end of your c/a tank.

I dont think I can get an on/off drop because the tank screws into the max flow. Ill check if they have on/offs.

this is a little off topic but wtf are you doing with an xpansion chamber when you are running HPA (it says in your sig). Seems extremely odd to me.

LOL but any way you can take a dremel and shave the pin in side your max flo a hair bit.

Get a Ecplise vert reg mount(allows your hoz. Reg to the vert position) and then get a Drop like a Kapp on/off

Question..... How does my h max flow mount Verticaly with that eclipse thing? I run my gun at 120psi, I shoot 250 (good for me). Would I shock my solenoid if i screw in my tank at this pressure?

to mess up a solenoid u need around 200+ psi...... so im told, anything less, i dont think so....... 120 psi? heh, wow thats low, i dont see any way you can shock your noid anymore....

another method you can use is turn your reg all the way down, then sqrew in your tank, then raise the reg to whatever....

Yea its low. The guy at my friend (owned all impulses) and he said to put it this low, it shoots fine. Would there be any problems running it this low? Man i need an on/off now!!!!

You would want an expansion chamber BEFORE a regulator, not after it.

beh. Well he had the horizontal max flow so he added a x chamber for a grip. Doesnt matter cuz im running HPA and well the x chamber is just a really expensive useless thing i use for a grip.

I am no scientist but an expansion chamber is probably harming your HPA performance. I cant remember why but I one of my friends talked to a guy at the proshop i go to and asked if he could use HPA on his E-99 and the guy said yes but he would want to take off the expansion chamber because it really just slows down the air or something like that. I would suggest you sell the expansion chamber and buy yourself a nice gas thru foregrip. I really like the Voodoo one.

Yes I do, it's about 3/4 of an inch to an inch long, email me at Lmartin2@triad.rr.com and I'll send you a pic.

The 2k1 imps dont have this prob. If your max flo has a pin thats not a solid pin like it has a hole going thru the middle of it, try it without the o-ring. its the ones with the solid pins that have the prob.
