I am sure I am not the only one wondering... so I will ask. As a note... I have figured most of it out on my own... having an idea how all things mechanical work.

So everyone is talking about this seal and that valve, this relay and that selinoid, this body and that regulator. But what are all the pieces and what do they control?

I have looked around a bit and haven't found anything yet. If anyone one cares enough to tackle this subject... this might be a good candidate for a sticky post.

Anyone who ownes a M3 marker knows how wonderful the documentation is... they don't even label the exploded diagram which I find strange. If they wanted I could do it for free for them.

NEway... what say you? anyone?

Well, in a way the microswitch controlls everything, when you hit the microswitch it will result in the sear dropping, which releases the striker. The striker will go forward and hit the valve pin, which will open up the valve and have air go from the air chamber through the bolt and shoot the ball, at the same time it will push the striker back which results in the gun recocking.

Im sorry if that didnt answer your question.

cocker kid - That is a good start.... it was less a question for me and more an attempt to build a "basics of operation" for all. It will help all the new people, some of the old peol\ple, help with troubleshooting if you know exactly what does what and how it effects the rest of the marker, and will help people to effeciently upgrade their markers.
