Hello everyone, right now i have a Dye Titanium 14'' Boomy and i need to get a bore switching barrel for tourneys. I love my boomy but i need diff. bores. From what i have experienced the boomy it is the most accurate barrel i have used so far when the bore is matched, but i want some barrel thats just as if not even more accurate than the ti boomy, let me know what u think.
Also let me know if u have also used a boomy and have compared it to a bore switching barrel. \
Thanks

I have found in my experiences that you will deffinatly get your moneys worth if you use one larger bore barrel(like .690) instead of like 5 different bore sized backs to a barrel. The larger bore is just as affective and is a lot cheaper. I recomend a .690 ultralite.

I would say that any of barrel kits would work pretty much the same. I've heard great things about the freak system, the CP one, and the pipe.

If you like your bRoomstick so much, equation designs could customize it so it fits there insert system, there inserts are bada-s-s, made out of 304 stainless steel with there new Eq3 technology thats twice as slick as teflon and has no ware or chipping for the life of the insert itself. call them @ 480-705-7390 or visit there website @ www.equationusa.com

Hmm, I will have to try one out. Problem is my local pro shop doesn't carry any after market tippy barrels. Looks like I gotta find someone with it! :D
And above, it wasn't OTP, it was CP I was thinking.

The Powerlyte scepter and the Titanium Longbow are great systems. The freak has very weak inserts, so you have to be careful w/ them.
And DYE is now making screwed boomsticks, so you can buy multiple backs for them.
And I have a 12" DYE Boomstick and a 10" DYE Ti Boomstick.

DYE makes the best barrels and now that they're coming w/ multi switch bore system ... they're the best
ti, boomie, ultralite r all boomies made outta different materials
ultralite is the lightest one of all of them
