People always think there so great just because they shot some damn newbie that just started playing yesterday then they brag about themselves and say on how good they are. Well little child it doesn't meen **** if you hit a newbie that has just started when you have been playing for more than 8 months
I AM SURE THIS BUGS A LOT OF PEOPLE TOO IF YOU HAVE ANY REASON WHY THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENCE OR YOU OBJECT PLEASE RESPOND. OR TELL ME HOW TO GET IT THROUGH SOMEONE MIND IF THEY DO THIS

I sometimes brag about shooting pros but a newbie isn't worth it

I try my best not to brag about eliminating someone unless it was really cool or bizarre(like shooting at one person hitting him in the trigger finger and him shooting his teammate{I didn't do this but wouldn't it be neat}) I like playing with newbies some have genuine talent others crack me up by trying to fit five of them behind one bunker but I usually give them a chance t surrender instead of bunkering but back on topic yeah it does irritate me when really good players brag about taking a team of newbies out.

Personally I think bragging is pretty conceited. I'm not a bad player or anything, actually I average 4 kills a game at 10 v 10. At school everyone talks about how they destroyed some new kid, I just keep my mouth shut. Although everyone teases me about me sucking at paintball just to piss me off, I try not to rub it in their face that I destroyed them last time we played. A lot of times newbies do this, they think they know alot about paintball, I remember one kid in my school who thought he was great heard everyone joking around saying I sucked, and he told me I sucked and hed never even played with me, and let me tell you, ive had some friends play with him and hes horrible. So the next time we played 10 v 10 in the woods behind my house, I invited him, and during the game I cornered him in a bunker. Then I ran in an arcing fasion tht caused me to be parrelel to his bunker, and i just unloaded on his stupid a**. I hit him 22 times. He kept his mouth shut after that. Anyway I agree with the guy at the top of this thread. Bragging about getting a newbie out isnt anything to be proud of, even thought I just spent 7 sentences doing it\.

GOsh your field must be full of *** holes, at my field, alot of times i see a player hit, and then later seek out the person who shot them and congradulate them.

Ah that's nothing. I've personally been bunkered and shot 19 times total (although about half were on my gun). I've saw upwards of 30 where a guy makes a run for the flag while 3+ people are shooting.

I've found that it's not HOW MANY times you get hit that hurts, it's WHERE. The worst shot I've taken while playing is being bunkered directly in the nipple. I just walked off the field and layed down. I have no idea why, but that hurt like a b*tch (and no, I'm not a woman).

brag about shootin a newbie?? it musta been a newbie that did it, hehe. i try not to play to hard on newbs, i will give them time to see me first and shoot around them so they get to play longer and have more fun so eventually they wont be newbies.

i hate the really cocky players who think they are the greatest before they even hit the field, but it feels SOOOOO GOOOD when i tag him on the break b4 he even gets to his bunker = )

theirs two groups of pball players in our school,, my team (happyface) and the rec walmart kids,,,they brag and taunt us about our guns and "high-end" equipment (not walmart gear).
They say stuff like "all ur gear and no talent" shiot like that.
now our team atends turnies and does pretty good and they know that,,,but still they taunt,,,,.. so this is what happen.
one day our team challenged their 7 to our 4 to a best of 5 turny and invited the whole school grade to whatch.

It end up a sweep and only once did any of our players be eleminated in the 3 games we played...

showed them up real good :P

Newbies bragging about killing more experienced players bugs me as much as vice versa. Once I was hit by a kid who was shooting through a hole in his bunker. It was just big enough for him to stick his barrel out of and fire blindly. One of them happened to hit me in the hand while I was moving up on him. He kept going on and on all day about how much better he was with his tipmann than I was w/ my cocker. I just let it go, so he could have his day. But he kept at it for hours... anyway, later we're playing a speedball game, and this guy with a mag and I were running the tape all of the way. The same pu55y *** kid was really far into a bunker on the other side and not even trying to play (no holes in this one I guess...) The two of us shot his *** up. He was bi7ching about us shooting him up too. 14 broke, and at least three times that many hit. I didn't say anything to him the rest of the day, and he left me alone too. Moral: For every time you brag about getting someone undeservedly, you will be shot :)

I once saw this dude on my team that intentionally trying to bunker and light up little newbie kids, so in the midst of a firefight, I shot him twice right in the back of the head and when he complained, I said "I'm sorry, I thought I saw a viscous newbie sneaking up on your flank"

well, one time i went 1v1 against an amatuer player with an autococker and a boomstick on a sup air course, we played 3 games, the first game, the refs told me what to do, and i bunkered him, the next game we switched sides, and the refs didnt tell me what to do, but i thought about last time, and i bunkered him, and the third game we did 2v2 me and a newbie, vs him and a newbie, and i bunkered both of them (well actually i just came up behined the other newbie, however i did bunker the other guy)
The only people i told was this one rec player i was playing with all day, and my mom when i was telling her about my day, and now to all of you :) it was my 3rd day i ever paintballed :) see, i didnt have to brag at the field, because the guy i played and his teamates talked to the refs about it, and the refs ate donuts. I know because I'm friends with the owners son, and he said "Hey I heard that you... blah blah"
And I just thought I would brag a little to you guys :) becaues next time i go, i'll probably suck YAY :eek:

at the feild i play at we play w/ newbies alot we like to make the sport grow we started w/ like 7 ppl and we now have 56 gun owners that have grew out of the 7 and about 20 kids that borrow stuff but we get so many ppl to play by not braging or lighting them up cuz some of us are very good and then theres the wannabees who will bunker 3 nebies w/ stingrays and cheapo markers and then brag about it id say his name but lots of the ppl we play w/ are regesterd and will see it so im not gonna menchin some stuff but when ppl brag about lighting up 3 newbees it pisses me off(tc) and every one gets in his face about it cuz he is the bragging king. but if ppl brag alot about lighting newbies up team up w/ the newbie and help him hunt the person down but to make the sport grow ppl need to stop lightin the beginners up

i never get shot by newbies or anyone at all for that matter

i shoot everyone in one shot, and i always play 10 v 1, that is 10 people against me. the other team usually has cockers and low end electros but i still beat them becuase my spyder is so dope!
