Problem with Local shop......... calgary.....

Hey Guys

You know how i said i'd get an Intimidator cuz i sold my skies huh geez 3 weeks ago. Last week i went into MR Paintball and talked to Mike so he could order me one right. cool, so he said unno sometimes next week. First off, i had no price match, not even close to price match, but i still agreed to his price because he was going to provide "free" tech support and blah blah.... I called him monday and he said ok. wednesday or thursday. so i said fine. Today (weds) i call and get Rich, he tells me that there are no Timmies, but Mike has left for France and won't be back for 2 weeks and that there won't be shipment for another week if even. Now the bad thing is i have a Company Outing organized with 20 peeps from work (petroleum company) and i have NO FREAKIN GUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for this sunday the 8th. and he told me with a "ya for sure" that it would be in by this week. i know its only Wed but where am i going to get a gun by SUNDAY?????????? GUYS PLEASE HELP ME OUT. I WOULD GO FOR ANOTHER COCKER MY HEART IS SET ON GETTING A TIMMY AND STUPID 888 PAINTBALL WON'T SHIP TO CANADA CUZ I WANTED TO BUY THE SE VERSION FOR ONLY 799.88$usd. here they wanna sell it for 2000 bux.... anyways sorry for the long message. please help me......

Can't those guys get their crap together? YEESH.. My friend Jorynn was going to get an Impulse before he got the Intimidator. He was told by Richard that the thing would be in within three weeks, just before a Big Game. He told us that Smart Parts was at fault. Then two days before the big game, He bought an Intimidator after we spent 3 hours in the freaking store trying to figure out a solution.

You have a few choices.

1. If they have Intimidators in Other colors, you could compromise. A warning though. I think they still have one on the wall they are trying to get rid of.. its an old first generation intimidator(its black and green I think). You can tell by the crappier barrel.. IT DOES NOT HAVE WATER RESISTANT BOARD! So in other words.. don't buy it.

2. Rush order from who knows where.

3. Be patient and use a rental.

4. Buy another kind of gun from M.R.

Dude....all I have to say is I am getting pretty sick of MR breaking promises. I say, go to canadianpaitnabll.com and order one from there. Even if it takes longer and you have to rent for this company outing it will be cheaper. $1199. Then probably just the shipping. Then you can buy anything else you need from the *******s at MR or you can do the hole shabang at canadian, but I say don't give MR the satisfaction of getting your 1400 give it to canadian no matter what the time frame.

Im not here to flame but if you say your going to do something DO IT. Now im trying to find a seller that will send me a stupid SE Timmy (color i like too) that they have in stock, and they are always busy on the freakin phone. but another thing what happens if anything goes with my timmy????? will i be ****ed? plus i need someone who can perform a LP mod on the timmy without smokin it bad unno...........plus im really gettin sick of the rude attitude that ****in guy has everytime i talk to them. ITS like i am GOD and see all and know all. pisses me off. oh bah i gotta go get my girly girl, i'll post later tonight.....

Can't you just rent a gun (or use your current one if you have it) for this thing on Sunday? Don't rush into a big decision involving LOTS of money without deciding what you really want. It sounds like you want the timmy. Canadianpaintball sells em cheap, and if they're in stock it only takes a week for the gun to arrive (it took 4 days for my gun to get to me!).

Where and when are you going...we were looking to go on sunday too, maybe we could all get together and have some paintball fun?....anyways.....yeah.....the price to fix these guns are not that bad....when my rev broke it cost like 10 bucks in parts and they replaced the eyes and board...and if you get the timmy and you call the service lne there is like a 50-50 chance but you'll probably end up talking to bob long himself anyays.....they have some of the best service there is, and if its really screwed if you send it too them he will most likely charge you nothing to fix it.

Tell ya what, I'll give you my icq or phone number or whatever and I will walk you through doing the LP mod. It is so easy it's not even funny. If you have the motor skills to bash yourself in the head with a hammer, you can handle doing the LP mod. You'll never be screwed for service because Bob can and will fix anything for you, almost all the time wihtout charge (unless it's your fault). Besides, anything goes wrong you can call me :) I can fix anything wrong with the gun that isnt electronics related, and I'd be happy to do it. If you arent happy for the service, dont buy from them. And someone mentioned SP ships slowly, I'd beleive that man, I've been waiting almsot 2 months for my freak, and it's always "sometime this week it's supposed to arrive". I know it aint the guy's fault at the shop, he's been super nice and calling me to update me when it arrives, so it's totally cool. Sometimes, it aint the stores fault, sometimes it is. Go with the timmy btw, not some damn cocker :)

anyways.... on with the local shop problem. i asked Jeff Wittrig (owner of mountain paintball) to see if he'd buy the se and send it to me. and he agreed, of course i would send money. but is that a wise idea? i mean he is the owner of mountain paintball after all. and i'll pick up the gladiator here and get twitcho to help me out over the phone or somethin to get the lp mod done to the gun.

Sorry to change the topic.... but I talked to Mike Carrey tuday and we are booked for Sat. July 14th at 10am
I told him there were only a few of us ( I said 6-7) and he said it would be no problem for us to join the group of 20 playing at that time.

So we're good to go, guys. And if they don't show up.. there is another group at 12 and 2... so we are for damn sure gonna play some paintball on Saturday!

For SURE this time!!!

And on yet another note: Final Fantasy came out TODAY (Wednesday), not Friday like we thought it would. But whatever, we SO have to see that movie...

I went to MR on friday to pick up some stuff. I talked to Mike and la la la la.... besides for Cody pisses me off, i asked him if he had any Timmies! GUESS WHAT the answer wuz? NO sorry, NO Timmies! Guys!!! When they say its too good to be true it is!!!! I got f*u*c*k*e*d over twice from 888paintball and Jeff from MtnPb is gonna give me a hand at this. they not only sent me the wrong gun (the le with 3 barrels) but also sent the wrong color!!!! what a bunch of idiots, plus i asked 4 times if it was the ripper with a single barrel and NOT the le with 3 barrels and they reassured me that it would be the ripper. so now, they WILL come up with a ripper for me simple as that. wut else should i do in the mean time. oh and i will get an email from Jeff tomorrow mornin at 12 so i'll let u guys know!

This is the update. I called Jeff, and this is what the story is:
1. Ed from 888paintball tried callin to see if there were any rippers left.
2. NONE are left
3. Im f*u*c*k*e*d
4. He sent ups to pick up the marker he sent me which was an LE with 3 barrels which is not even the right color
5. They want to charge me 20% restocking fees for their mistakes.
6. May not give me my money back, because of a lame excuse that its COD and blah blah blah......
7. So i will get NO marker, and NO money back according to these sluts.
8. May have to wait until next summer to get another marker and maybe part of my money back.
9. I don't know what else to do, please help me out here.
10. I got a tourney comin up in a week. (roast?)
