Help with my derlin bolt!

I just got a new derlin bolt for my M3 sniper. I just read that you shouldn't use regular pb gun oil on it or it will swell up. But I already oiled the whole thing. I took it out of the gun and dryed it off, but what else should I do? Is it ruined?

Does it still fit? To my knowledge oiling a delrin bolt will have it expand, check if it fits. Sometimes when the bolt isn't wide enough, some people oil it.

dude take it out of your gun. while u still can..........i loaned a ******* friend of mine my old 2k2 timmy and he did the same thing it takes a while but it will swell up enough to where u cant get it out.

dont oil it whats the point? some types of delrin swell. just dont oil it

Point is I already oiled it and I was wondering if there we percautions I should take so it wouldn't swell.

ok well u oiled it about 2 days ago, and does it STILL fit? if so, try dry firing, and take it out and if its fine, put it back in and try shooting paintballs, and if its fine, then it should all be good... thats what i would do if i oiled a delrin bolt
