Drills To Become A Better Player.

By Zac Targac.

You want to be a better player? Day in and day out all I here form them is if you want to be a better player you need to play more. They believe they just need to go play all day.
This is a great drill to help out most people. You need to gather a couple 2 liter bottles, or some old hoppers. Set them out at different distance and even set some up at the edge of a bunker where somebody might pop out. Then practice snap shooting. Snap shooting is when you are behind cover and pop out and fire a couple shots at your opponent then tuck back in. It might be a waste of paint but you just gained accuracy and practiced the drill of snap shooting. Here is some skills you will need to become a better player.
Awarness refers simply to knowing what is going on in the game. It's being able to see your oponents plan unfolding in front of you, and being able to stop it. It's being able to time your bursts to hit the front guy right as he pops his head out. It's knowing right when you can run to that "impossible bunker" when nobody is gonna be able to hit you. THESE are the skills that will come later on in your paintball career. You can play the game with no awareness skills whatsoever and still impress almost all the walk on players, but you'll never be great until you learn some awareness. Awareness however cannot be taught. It will come to you after you build your technical skills.
Technical skills means you need to shoot more accurately, snap shoot quicker, shoot faster, run faster. So say your trigger finger is 4 bps and you want to work it up higher well you can just take your gun (with no air or paint) and just fire with your trigger finger until your finger is getting soar you should be able to shoot a lot faster. i find that using a stress ball helps alot with your trigger finger. Once you strengthen you hands and fingers they will be able to move alot quicker.
The Last drill I would like to tell you is the movement drill. Have a friend with proper equipment on run by about 30 feet with a garbage lid or some type of shield on that he is holding and practice firing and aiming while he is running, so next time when you catch your opponent running you will have practiced and have a good chance off hitting him.

Well I hope this helps you become a better player I know it helped me.
Happy Splatting.

It's cool to use whatever you want, but dont use someone elses information or ideas without crediting them bro.
