Yes nitro will still be effective. All you need to buy is a screw in tank with a preset output of 850 psi. I just bought a 47ci 3000 psi Crossfire nitro tank from countypaintball.com. Going to be my first time playing with it today ill let you know how it performs. Ive read that it should be alot more consistent so it will be more accurate.

well the only reasons i run on hpa is is because i can use it in the winter and that i have a fill station at my house. but i have a reg so i dunno.
