I am not trying to start any fights or anything or disagree or agree with anyside but, (besides the price) why do people (some people) back up BE products. Is their any reason that they should be considered bad, or is it just a few slip ups in thier products and now everyone thinks that how all their products are. I want facts and opinions about comparing Tippman, Kingman, and Brass Eagle.

I have spyders, and ive had stingrays but they broke. I have also shot more high end guns...Angel, cocker, timmy.

1. The Rainmaker gives very high-end performance for the price of a semi blowback.
2. They are cheap and fun to work on.
3. We want to be different.
4. We show that lots of BE guns can kick the crap out of higher end guns.
6. Nobody here has ever had someone bash their gun at a field.

The Tippman 98 is much BELOW the level of a Rainmaker, which is cheaper, and as far as I'm concered, a BE Avenger IS a Spyder Compact 2-n-1. The Pro/Carbine is also below the Rainmaker, and to be honest, I'd compare the Rainmaker to the A-5 more than the 98.

The rain maker might be half descent, it's their best gun, but it's not better made than Kingman guns, or Tippmann.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. The Rainmaker will be MUCH more reliable than any Spyder. Also a lot tougher. Sure, the Tippman is a tank fer cryin out loud. But tell me: Does it have a double reg setup? Does it have a select fire board? For the price, you pay extra for nothing.

Personally I like the $20 plastic pumps. CCI phantoms sell for how much again? Six times as much or more?

Brass Eagle's metal guns (their attempt at spyder counterparts) Avengers and Raptors, (are there others?) maybe they aren't as good as their spyder or tippmann competition, and yet they retail for the same price. But heres the thing, some people already have purchased their brass eagle gun and shot a case of paint through it. They can't return it. Are they supposed to just toss it so they can get a spyder or a tippmann? Honestly that's not economical when you have a perfectly fine gun in your hands. Yes, maybe it's not as good as a spyder or a tippmann, but to each their own right? Each person has to make due in life with what they have. In hindsight, yes maybe you can make judgements about which is better, and which would have bee a better buy. But everyone can turn around and complain about their butt, it take a real man to walk foward and say, 'Hey I'm proud of my BE gun!' :P

owning a Brass Eagle also says that you don't care what other people think, you know how to have tons of fun without spending tons of money. You didn't drop 100s of dollars on something that if it malfunctions you need an engineering degree to fix.

It's fun to take out my Sting Ray I(to this day I honestly believe it is the most accurate stock marker ever made) and tagging people with it. Especially those guys that laugh at me for using it.:P

Brass Eagle markers are not pretty(look at the Blade).

They are not compliacated, and they are inexspensive.

Personally, I would rather back a company that sells at wal-Mart or KMart and work my way "up" to a "better" marker as my skills and desires changed. My opinion, ANYONE who buys an Autococker or the like for their first marker BEFORE EVER PLAYING, is asking for problems. Start small(B.E. Kingman, Tippmann, and the like) and go from there.

BE years ago was in there with the rest of the big timers in paint ball ,Spyders where not even in the picture. Piranhas where pumps. The Golden eagle was a $329.00 marker made by BE how many of you even seen one of those.
BE drop out of competing in the higher end marker and drop to the entry level marker. That reason was to get more players into the sport. People knock a company and flame people on here and other boards for owning one.
Sure a lot of stuff BE sells is cheap. But the kid that can't afford a lot of cash and wants to play, buys what he can.
Our field is a factory repair station for BE. I work on a lot of there stuff day in and day out. I don't see people laughing at kids with BE stuff to there face.
BE isn't doing what there doing to rip people off, There doing it too introduce it to more people. If they didn't or where not there think about how many people would not be playing.
Parents spend a lot of money on there kids ,In the kids life time and work hard for there money. They don't want to invest alot of cash into a gun if the kid wont take care of it.
In time as the kid shows interest in the sport there more likely to invest in a top or mid range gun.
It could even get there dads hooked and then things can't get any better than that.
I manage a field part time and seen many a dads and a few mom's get hooked on the sport and dump a few bucks into it. So next time you feel the need to flame BE you should thank them for trying to do a good thing.

i would suggest tippmanns for first guns....for around 100 u get a nice solid gun that u can play with forever...and is very good quality....brass eagle just doesnt have the rep that the other companies do.
