before i kill this kid.....he's my friends lil brother, new to paintball, and he's been bugging me about everything that he can possibly think of thats realted to paintball, the most kommon question

"i'm gettin a (insert gun name here), will it kill your gun?"

and i've told him everytime, its about personal prefrence, and the gun don't make the player

i know its sumthin every newbie does....but why does he have to bug me about it???

Buy a pump and rip on him with it. Yes, sometimes for the thick-headed, you need to make a very good point. This will show him that the gun truly does not mean you are good.

Or a softer approach, when he asks, tell him that you will die if he gets such and such a gun...

feel privilege, alot of guys wish that people would ask them questions about paintball etc. When I was a kid long ago I use to bug the guy across the street. He build street rods etc all the time.
I learn a ton of stuff from him. Been friends now for like ever.
At the field I run try 20 kids a different times asking almost the same stuff. At least you only have one kid bugging you.
Myself it great to share the knowledge I have learn. thats how this sports going to grow.
Bite your lip (which is hard) Answer his questions and soon he'll lax off some. When it comes to gun question answer them. Telling a kid its not the gun but the player all the time leaves a door open.
When ask if this gun kill you gun explain the valve difference in a matter he'll under stand. All you have to do is say yeah that gun could do better than mine in the right person hands etc.
If you think this kid bugs you ,wait till you have kids of your own. There going to bug the heck out you ,just like you did your parents.
