Yeah I did a search and didn't find jack so don't hassle me ;)
I have an oppurtunity to sell my completed pimped mag for $350 without warp. I could turn around and sell the warp for a good $90. I also have $150 sitting in my wallet waiting to be used. So I was wondering, what kind of Impulse could/should I get for $600? I kind of want vision but it isn't necessary. I was thinking along the lines of a Cricket Vision with Iframe and internals (maybe LPR). Any suggestions are appreciated.

the one in my sig :D
you can get a project rat for that much, check out the custom imps and see if you like em, you may need to pay a little bit mroe cash though, but if you dont like them jus go with a stock and customize your own from there

Only problem with a new project rat is it's $600 BASE. No vision or anything. Why do that when I can get an impy with upped internals, LPR, vision, etc?

ok, first step. Try everything you can to see what works for you and what you think you are going to need.
Step two. Prioritize the list as to what you are going to need more than other things.
Step three. Price it all out, and then jumble everything up.
Step Four. go and find what all you want.
Remeber :)
If you want custom milling, you will have to start with a stock Project Rat and work up from there!
Vision, I-Frame, Internals, it can all be added at a later date, so don't think you HAVE to buy them installed.
Buying an Imp from EPBO means you can upgrade it to vision later at the difference of the cost for the two guns (non-vision and vision). So it's not going to be as expensive as buying a vision system from smart parts or anywhere else. They will also install it and make sure it's working if you pay for shipping both ways.
Other than those notes, it's all personal preference! :agree:

Imp with vision- $530 (last time i checked) 380 without vision
I-Frame- $150
nd equalizer delron bolt -$32
nd slick shot- $30
Rat hole ss hammer- $20
some kind of air mod- atleast $10 to $100( tapeworm to lpr)
then add like 20 bucks for some stickies and depends if you want a lighter pull pin. And dont forget a tank and hopper. I suggest an evo II or a halo B. It comes out to be a lot more than 600, but think about parts that maybe you cant install, or just what you need to play with your gun. I suggest buying an impulse from www.e-paintballoutlet.com cuz i did.
I would really suggest getting your air mod and your internals set up first so that way the guys at e-paintball can set it up for you.

have you shot a stock imp, there great all u really need is an eclispe blade trigger, a Halo B, and a drop. Unless your planing on entering your gun in a beauty pagent, i wouldnt worry about custom milling and pretty colors. and with a Halo B u wouldnt need a vision, and I can rip on my blade trigger, so u don't need an I frame. oh and lpr's arn't all there dished up to be. others may disagree but Ilove my set up.

I have three problems with this.
1) YOU can rip on your blade, it has been stated over and over again that there are different strokes for different folks. Specifically, not everyone likes the feel of the blade, not everyone likes the feel of the magnetic either. And at the same time, not everyone likes the feel of the I-Frame. And just because anyone can rip on it doesn't make it the best thing in the world. That is, you might be able to rip on it, but that doesn't make it comfortable.
2) LPR's have also been proven several times to increase efficency, lower bolt pressure, and increase opperating pressure. Couple things to remember, you have to acctually set it right. You have to let it break in.
3) Get a new sig that isn't a blatent flame.

Your right about the trigger, but it's not hard to aquire a feel for the blade trigger or the magnet.

No reason to turn the thread into a flame fest or whatever

I have tried a New Designz blade, and I liked it a lot -- even though my teammate didn't have a spring in his trigger. From what I can see the ND and the Eclipse look just alike.
By the way ... I just worked out a deal on a vision rat impy with a 68 (not sure of psi) tank and LPR for $400. The reason he is letting it go so cheap is because when EPBO shipped him the impy, the vert feed got ripped out and the threads are stripped. He sent me pics of it and the body seems to be the only problem. Will EPBO replace the body?
Thanks for all the help so far!

all warrenty work is only aplicable to the first owner of the Rat or Imp from EPBO. So if he sold it to you... then no, probably not. But I haven't talked to anyone from EPBO in forever and a day (even on the forum).

First of all we are talking about two different things here.
We do contune to fix Rats (but not 'normal" Impulses)under warrenty, even for second owners. However don't confuse "Warrenty" with "insurance". If a Marker was shipped to a customer, and the shipper damaged the gun in transsit, The Shipper would pay an insurance claim on the damaged marker. Basicly the Shipper is paying to have the gun fixed-- a little like if you backed your new car into a light pole in the parking lot. The damage to the car would be paind by insurance- not fixed as "Warrenty".
As to the question of "will we EPBO fix it" -- Ofcourse we will- but not for free. Now if this is the gun I thi9nk it is, it is worth way more then the $400 mentioned above. The gun I think this may be has a 4500/68 Maxflo system and Vision. Even if you scraped the rest of the parts, those two iteams are worth more then $400. (and rember you would still have a freak, blade trigger, stickys, hammer, and tape worm).
How much will it cost to repair the gun?-- I have no Idea as I havn't seen it. My guess is if you can live with some scratches on the body, you and most licky have a fully operational gun for well under $100. On the other hand if you want a "new" gun- most likly the body would have to be replaced or at least refinished and re anoned. My guess is that would be more in the $200 range. Basicly it would depend on the cost of parts from SP as we would do the labor free.
Hope that explains it a bit better

He didn't tell me that at least and even then I would still be getting a really good deal. About the $100 ... that would be completely awesome as I have another $200 sitting around here. I will call up later on or e-mail you and we can talk about this further. Thanks for the reply!
