X-chamber hole

Is there any way to align the x-chamber before screwing it into the vertical bottle adapter to make sure that the hole is facing the back of the gun? Everytime i screw it in, the hole is facing sideways or toward the front of the gun? Is this just a guess and check process?

what kind of expansino chamber is it? most of them can rotate to fit the right direction..don't quote me on that though.

Its an ACI Sub-zero 6 stage. How does it rotate?

i heard that the bottom part, where the hole is located twists..like it rotates..try it with your hand..

theres an allen wrench hold at the bottom of the x-chamber...but theres no way of turning the allen wrench hole w/o turning the whole chamber.

If you look closely at the x chamber and see a little crack going around the x chamber...everything below it should rotate. the alan key wrench on the bottom is to secure the hose to it.

Im not seeing a crack here. Are you saying that it circumscribes around the x-chamber? Where is the crack....is it on the bottom, middle, or top of the x-chamber? Do you have this same x-chamber or a different one, because im not seeing this crack.

The crack does go around the whole x chamber and im not sure where it is but you should be able to notice it if you look closely. Maybe the ACI doesn't have it b/c the spyder SE x chamber has it.

I dont know anymore. I do know that i totally ****ed with this stupid thing until i scratched the hell out of the small chrome part. I couldnt figure out how the hell it rotated, so i held the chrome part with a wrench and tried to twist the black grip part. Of course, it didnt work and i scratched up the chrome a little. Plus, i tried like 10 times screwing it into the gun different ways (with the hole facing opposite directions) and i wore down the threads a little. THIS IS SO AGGRAVATING. I love the directions (none) this dumb company sent with the product.

First of all calm down and look at the very bottom the x chamber, below all of the finger grooves. sometimes its pretty hard to turn it, but if it were to turn it looks like it would be below the finger grooves. I checked it out on paintballgear.com and it looks like thats the place to twist it. GOOD LUCK!

I just emailed ACI and told them my problem....just waiting for their response now. Im not gonna do anything else to the x-chamber until i get a reply. I dont want to ruin the threads or mess up the chrome and end up wasting the money i spent for it. I looked under the last finger groove, and no crack. Oh well. Maybe i have to rotate my vertical adapter. I guess ill find out soon.

Did you get a reply yet? What did they say? I was thinking of getting an ACI 6-chamber but i want it to have the whole at the bottom (not the middle) and have the whole facing towards the CO2.
