I no that nitro doesn't have much of an advantage over co2 if you don't have comp-air system. But if you haave a regulator does that do the same thing?

No, a regulator wouldn't do the same thing. The LP kit for the Tippmann comes with an upgraded powertube and valve, and it also comes with a lighter bolt / rear-cocking system. And it also has the low pressure chamber and vertical adapter.

I dont have the LP Kit on my 98 and I can tell a difference between nitro and c02. Nitro is alot cleaner and quieter than Co2 but without the kit its about as effecient as CO2 but it depends on how big of a Nitro tank you have. Also the gun doesnt freeze up anymore and I use a R/T.
