whats up with my buddies gun?

the problem is that when he cocks it then shoots it the bolt sputters as if there is no air in the gun. any idea whats wrong?

Well I've spent three years combating that problem in one of *my* buddies Griffins, to be honest I couldn't tell you.

It may be that the cup seal is loose, the striker/sear could be worn down, or the velocity could be too high, or any manner of things

Although there is truth to the fact that several griffins out there have this irrepariable problem like that and your best bet is to talk to aci, maybe even send it in... Sorry!

does he clean and lube his marker regularly ? this could be the problem.

He needs to take it all apart. then ring a squeegee through it. make sure its totally clean. thats it and it works fine
