Is it alright to store your gun with the gas on it and cocked? Does it deform the spring over long peroids?

Don't leave your marker or any marker gassed up for long and unused periods of time. The constant pressure on your internals will wear them out prematurely and screw things up.

The internals of a marker aren't going to wear simply because they are under pressure. If you keep the marker cocked, however, your main spring will definitely lose some strength, probably causing your velocity to drop. Other than that, the real reason you should not keep your marker pressurized and cocked is for safety. Just as you would be an idiot for storing a firearm like that, you would be an idiot for storing your marker the same way.
Since ur marker is also under pressure, something internal could break messing it over

That would put a LOT of stress on the valve, and we dont want to do that now do we.

Not to mention, why the hell would you want to do that in the first place?
It's like having a loaded gun, on a gun rack, that is pointing at your head when you go to sleep in your bed.

Don't leave your tank in. And leave your marker uncocked, it'll wear your springs like a mofo:laugh:
