I'm trying to find a nice, quiet, accurate barrel, that won't eat co2 like there's no tomorrow. This is for my Piranha Pro TS G3
I would list more, but I ran out of spaces in the list :D

By the power vested in me, by myself, for my own pleasure, I resurect this thread in hopes that someone, somewhere will help me out.

I'd go with a all american. Its accurate, quiet, and a good price. The teardrop is just as good but its less expensive.

Go with the Boomer or AA.

jj ceramic is 50 bucks, quiet, accurate, self-cleaning, not too much porting, (not gas ineffiecent and good if you later on decide to go LP). dont get a dye when you can get a jj ceramic that shoots just as good. plus if you bust a ball in a all american or boomer then its over, you lost. trust me, ive owned (own) an all american and shot many jj ceramics.

either the AA or the tear drop, i dunno which one to get :( i think i'll save my money and go for the teardrop unless there are mass objections

I decided on the DYE ss, and it should be here tomorrow. I'll let you know how that one is, even if you are looking at smart parts barrels. :)

Did you go to paintballgear.net? They have teardrop barrels for like, $50. If not, you might wanna go there, it's cheaper than the AA by 20, have a look.

pbgear is the biggest rip, they claim they slash prices but they charge like 20$ shipping, it is less on paintballbarrels.com and they don't charge shipping

The best barrel ever made is the Smartparts Freak kit. I got the 16" kit for $210. I can shoot balls on top of each other across the field (its a speedball field). I've shot about 5000 rounds through it and I have not broken a ball in it yet. I shot fresh and extremely old(1year 6months, still perfectly round, don't ask me how) it all shot great. Everyone should get a Freak.

Sorry dude, Edd doesn't have that much money. Hard to hold down a job, me being crazy and all. I could barely afford the dye ss I got at 60

id say go with the all american its really good for everything you said. if you get the 14 inch or longer it ont be too bad for lp because the first 6 inches are not ported. the part with porting only gives the ball time to become round again after it is fired and whatnot so its ok for lp setup but still not the greatest

Smartparts barrels are very nice but there not that good for LP. For LP if want quiet and accurate get a Dye SS for speed ball or Dye aluminum for woods or if you just like black better.

Your best choice for Lowpressure setups would be the Lapco bigshot and AKA javelin one of the two..I just ordered a CP one peice barrel..hope its good.
