Spray painting...

hello,

i have a hopper lying around and i want to spray paint it a silver to black fade... how would i do that?? Is there any special techniques?

Go watch some NPPL footage on "Spray Painting"..lol. I'd spray the hopper the darker color entirely, let it dry, and then do the fade with the silver.

Oh gawd, ROFL. How bout you spray the black paint into a bucket dip the hopper in the paint let it dry then spray the silver paint into another bucket and dip the other side of the hopper in that. sorry just funny

i was wanting to spray paint my hopper and then wright my name on it... would i just spray paint it and then right the name with like model paint or somethin?

you could make a stencil of your name and tape it to the hopper, then spray paint your name on it. it will look crappy with modle paint freehand on it.

i just painted the bottom layer of red on my hopper today and it looks pretty good so far... hoe to stencil my name in an cover it up wit blue later on

okay how about would i go doing fades? i got the base color (black) on already... how do i fade it into silver??

umm try to just go over it real quick os ther jus a lil paint then go over slower and slower towards the point where you want it silver i guess?
