You can't tell from reading this Obit, but Maurice Gibb, bassist for the BGs was also Capt. of the Royal Rat Rangers, a British paintball team that competed at World Cup every year. He also owned a huge paintball store in Miami called Capt. Mos.

I played against his team in Atlantic City last year. He was a really nice guy. Sad to see him gone.

That really is a terrible loss for paintball. His Teams were never super, but he brought some "spotlight" to our sport and he really liked paintball from all the interviews I saw.

Plus he was donating $800,000 to the "Super 7" series to help get it on it's feet. I wonder what's going to happen now. But I am a pessimist at heart.
