I need to know. I'm in need of a new gun and I need to know what to get. Everyone in here says the shutters rule but some say it really sucks. Also the new Boblong millenium I heard comes with more stuff and has better upgrades. So let me know. And by the way I"m not that new just a newbie question.

The long is pretty much upgraded already.

Definitely get the Bob Long. My buddy has a Shutter and it as really a great gun bt the Long is better. Shutters are overpriced and seem to look better than they really are.

shutters overpriced yes and reg is useless. bob long has vertical feed, top cocking, better stock barrel, better grips. like the xtra, dont need to upgrade it

the spider is an economy/mid level gun

Bob long is a tornament gun.

Nah, the millenium is around the same price as the shutter. It's not gonna give you tournament level performance, but it's got some tournament level concepts built into it. Most importantly the vert feed, and the quick strip from the top. Bob is also insane about backing up his products, he'll do stuff once in a while that I'm sure is making him lose money to fix guns free of charge. That's reason enough to buy the gun there

i would go with the millenium mine has yet to mess up on me but one of my friends had a shutter and it broke like every other game and sometimes it would not shoot with paint but you take the hopper and paint out and it worked fine it is a weird gun

I use the shutter and had it for almost a year now, bought it when it first came out. it's been my perfect lil baby ever since...! the only upgrade i have on it is a 16" Custom Prducts barrel and a 3000psi remote setup. The gun works like a perfect baby, never broke down or even broke a ball that i can think of. Shoots very consistent and fast, get urself a motorized hopper with it and ur good to go! ive even snipered with it fairly effectively. And spyder is a more reputable manufacturer of guns than bob long. but the decision is yours. experiences may vary.
