I am planing on getting a chaos chip on my b2k2. i was wondering if i should get the vapor or tandrum and if i should get one with semi only or one wit all te modes. The tandrum has a few more modes on it. I play in tourneys but i dont see how i could change the mode throught a dip switch when 2 ref are lookin at me. I dont get y u have to use the semi only in the nppl too because it isnt like you could get to the dip switch. But think they would make me have a semi only board in tourneys? Thanks

Both version of the chip offer tourny lock. The only difference between the two chips is the Chaos doesnt comes with the Tantrum mode. This is basically a 3 round burst that will pause every second and then fire again, as long as you hold the trigger down.

The new Chaos chip has Trigger select options just like the Tantrum. Both can use switch 8 to lock the marker out of the trigger setup option. The base code for both chips are the same. The selectable options are the same. Nothing about the two chips are different with the exception of the Tantrum mode.

As far as tourny legal goes, I have yet to see a tournament make you open your marker and show them what chip you are running. All they care about is one pull one shot. When you walk up to have the marker chrono'd you will prove to them at that point you are in semi mode. If you are concerned about them inspecting the marker get the Chaos SO. This is a true Semi only chip. There are no firing options other than semi.
