it was my first day with my 2k3 and i broke balls like no other. probly every 4/10. buti think it was my short stroking and thenwhen i tried t shoot more they just all broke. so i dont think it was my paintballs(marbs). i don know if it was the cold w/ my co2. but im getting a new barrel soon. what work well with the gun. try to name a few. and what kind of paint works best with it on the gun. thanks matt

Get a boomstick. They are a little expensive but you will not regret buying one.

Ok, there is one huge thing you need to find out. Were you chopping or breaking, if you short stroked your gun you would have chopped, if it were the paint and or barrel it was breaking. Find that out first and then get back to us. Btw listen to bobalis he knows what he's talking about ;)

Your partly there, drop the xtra weight, and go all aluminum get an ultralite. Its cheaper too.

Don't go with a boomstick or an ultralite. Get a Longbow Barrel.
They used to only produce the titanium ones which were quite expensive, but now they are starting with Stainless Steel.
The unique thing about them is the interior finish. They use a patented 'hardbore' coating, which is very durable, smooth and easy on the ball.
The stainless ones are $109, $219 for 3 bores.
:D

Another thing to look into would be the Powerlyte Speedline barrels.. DYE products aren't the only option

They are the best however.

Have you ever shot one of those Titanium Longbow barrels? Powerlyte Speedline?
DYE is very high quality, they're also very pricey.
It won't be too long until another company matches them for performance, but doesn't charge an arm and a leg.
In my opinion - and from my experiences (I've shot both), the Longbow barrels have every DYE barrel beat
