Ok you guys are probably gonna get mad at me for asking a newbie question but I've never owned a shocker or impulse and I haven't even shot a shocker before. Anyway I REALLY like the new 2k3 Shockers and I just had a quick question. Im debating on getting either a stock New Impulse with vert reg and blade trigger for $450.00 or waiting and getting a 2k3 Shocker. I heard things like it will suck once it first comes out because it needs time to be improved by the team just like the first impulses and shockers. Im pretty much wondering which to get im going to be running nitro on the shocker if I get it and Im going to be running a 20oz co2 on the impulse if I get it so there is quite a bit of a price range which I can afford.
Anyway the main question is which to get and why? And is there a big performance difference?

Thats the problem I live up north.. I can only test what other people have... I play with around 30 other people and there is 1 bone stock impulse here... Unless I travel two to three hours down south there is no way I can test other guns unless people here buy them... My pro-shop only has in stock what people are about to purchase it's rare to see new models of guns and there is no way ill be able to test a 2k3 shocker within the next few years lol. Anyways please give some advice!

Well, I can pretty much guarantee you the 2K3 Shocker is going to be a lot more expensive than a Stock Impulse with a Blade Trigger. If you have the money, I'd wait for the 2K3 Shocker, i have a feeling it's going to be promising. On the other hand, if you have enough for the new shocker, screw that and get a new vision impulse.
It is realy impossible to compare a gun that dosn't even exist yet with a gun that has a proven track record and has been refied by a couple of years of turny play.
When the new shocker comes out (3 to 4 months!) it will have zero after market goodies for it (except barrels) It will take maybe a year before you can do anything to it (at least that will inprove preformance) So do you realy want to go with out a turny level gun for a year and a half? And what is the advange of waiting all that time? You you honestly think that you will be able to pull a shocker trigger faster then you can pull an Impulse trigger? Its kind of silly to compare rate of fire numbers when both are a great deal more then YOU can pull. Do you honestly feel that a shocker will shoot father then an Impulse (it won't). Do you think a shocker will be NOTICABILTY more accurate?
To me its always like this buying something-- if I wait, there will be something better, but how much will I miss by waiting? If you bought computer epquipment based on what will be advaible in 6 months, you would NEVER have a computer because you would always be waiting for whats coming in 6 moths.
