whats that speacial hopper that spins the ball or whatever, and what does this do??

I think you mean Vl revolution it agitates the balls so they can flow instead of jamming up. Really only needed with fast guns although i am using one on my gun right now

I think they charge a lot of money for them.

Yeah 50 is not that bad of a price for them. I remember when the vl2000 and shreders first came out. A lot of stores charges 90-120 for them.

PS. if you don't want to spend 50 you can get the less powerful 9v's for about 30.
