I was at the field a few days ago, and a player there said his team was taken out in 9 seconds. His team also came in second.
Do all tourney's games go that fast? Or was that just some fluke?
Also, are there any teams that use pirahnas or spyders only?

iv ended a game (sure it wasnt in tourny, but this is an example of how fast it goes) in less then a minute. all i did was run the tape, got behind them and bunkerd 3, got behind the back bunker while the other 3 guys tryed to bunker me, but they all missed, suckas.

9 Seconds is possible, but it isnt likely at all, the only way that could happen is if each member on the team that lost ran through the shooting lanes off the break. And all happened to get hit while going to their bunkers.

The only way I could see this happening is if the whole team gets took out on the break, and you don't stop running untill u have hung the flag.

Well he said that the team had been taken out, and not that the game ended in 9 seconds. If it was a 3 man tournament, then its very possible. If one team plays it well, shoots while running, and reads the team well, then the team can seriously just run from one end of the field to the other.
3 man and even some 5 man tournaments are very agressive. Games go fast.
Spyders at the tournament level are usually seen at, obviously, the Spyder Cup. Also Kingman has a huge number of teams it sponsors to some extent that use spyders. Pirahnas are not seen as much simply because they are distributed by PMI, which doesnt sponsor teams exclusively (the same way as Brass Eagle).
