taking off visor on mask

why do people in paintball magazines do this

I dunno! The best thing about a visor is how it protects your lenses if you put it face down on the ground or somthing. They really don't help your vision that much in my opinion.

they look cool, and keep the sun outta the holes on the top so you don't get little lines of light down your lenses. that's so annoying! oh well..that's why i keep the visor on mine..oh, maybe more vision? less of a target? i don't know!

less of a target, but i personally get quite a few bounces off my visor, i dont know why they take it off.

ive seen them keep the vison on most of the proteus, but that visor is pretty streemlined....

I get alot of breaks off my visor, my luck sucks so bad :( I been thinkin about taking it off, but never when I'm in sunlight

well at the field i play at in Hawaii, by mid day, the fog comes rolling in & it gets cold, and sometimes there is very very light rain. even with a thermal lens, my mask fogs up a slightly, i take off the visor to get more air flow to the inside of my mask, and it clears up again.
