HUG THE BARACADE!! Make sure you keep your profile very very small - they have some really weird baracade shapes, like cones and stuff.

When you think you can make it to the next baracade do it, but slide into it so your not as big a target.

Sure someone else'll give you more info

Yeah if you can't play at the field before the tourney at least get a chance to walk the field. Always communicate- if someone does something as small as reload then let everyone know. If someone moves yell it till you know everybody knows if you need help covering somebody yell it out and they will help you. Also set up some codes, for example if your gonna move up say your name to let them know who is saying the message. Then say a word that tells them what you wanna do so they can cover you or do whatever you need them to do. Also the differences in the fields is amazing, you have to stay tight and shoot alot. Your back men should shoot alot of paint and let you know what goes on at all times. In the woods you duck when you hear the noise of the marker. You can't do that in speedball, you have to duck only when you see balls flying towards you. Thats all I got, I'm sure they're are other people who can offer some more advice.

Yea cumminicate is most important. Also haveing good back players helping your front players advance and keeping them from being bunkered. Also haveing back players shoot as much paint as possible.

the back players are usually very important. they have to let you know exactly where the other team is, and lay down alot of paint so you can move and come up without getting shot at. the back is the key to the game.

Buy a paintball video with a lot of tourny action in it like a world cup or something. Go watch a tourny before if at all possible and try to play some speedball if at all possible. You really should watch tourny play live and I don't mean while you are waiting for your teams game, I mean before your team practice. Go to p8ntballer.com and read the classroom help section for team practices and get all the info you can about how to prepare for a tourny. I know it seems like a lot of work, but if you win one game it will all seem worth it. Pit your players one on one at practice, play three on two or four on one or two on one. All the combos you can think of and run shooting drills like snap shooting and simple target practice and running while shooting and sliding into bunkers. Shooting with both hands. Cover each other against imaginary opponents while you change bunkers. If any of this is possible you will benefit from it. And communication is the most important part. Like I said, watch world cup 2000 if you can find it and watch it. Then go to p8ntballer website and read the classroom and take the info to your team.

Oh yeah, if you can't find a video to put in your vcr, go to warpig and watch pig tv. It's free, just follow the simple instructions given and watch those movies they will help you. You have to see tourny play to know what to expect. They are all out to light you up so learn lots before heading for the gaunlet bro! You will see guys diving for bunkers and spraying 13 balls per second at what looks like an empty bunker, but there just so happens to be a helpless opponent pinned down back there. Pinned down and unable to participate is just as bad as being eliminated! You'll see back players screaming out possitions to teammates and clueing them in on the action. This is not rocket science, but it is a far cry from a walk in the woods! Your opponent might be 20 or 3 feet away! So wear a diaper if it's what needs be!
