Ok lets say Kingman(or any company) wanted to make a new gun do you think they come to pbreview.com and see what people say isnt good on their current model and change those things before they make the new gun?

Dumb question:)
Nope, if they go anywhere it will be PBC, they have the most members and are the most popular...even after Jims stunt...

After the fees came in, that place is about as lively as a cemetary. No, I dont think they check these forums, they've probably got their own market research and what not.

there is no such thing as stupid questions, just stupid people.
well, if i were the owner of, say, kingman, i would. if i owned a company such as BE, i would change the name and make stuff that works :-).

i think that's a good question, i never really thought of that. i know if i owned a company like that i'd check every site i could. they might not come to this particular site, but i bet they check some really popular forums and stuff to see what's going on.
I think that business people are ignorant fools that think they know everything and they are not open minded enough to take critisism the right way and actually lestin to suggestions and fix their products. *Breathe* That's the longest sentence I've ever written. Looks like I need to take some english classes.

I agree, i voted no :) im somewhat agree that they dont check any sites like this, and they turn towards their accuracy test machines and stuff

No, they usually just do their own product testing and market research. We wouldnt be able to give them answers until way after their production. So we probably wouldnt be a help except for a second or third generation version.

Used to be the most popular PB forum, but then Jim Murray, the creator, started charging 4 bucks a month to all members. And now visitors cant even post or VIEW the forum. So basically, if your not a member (or an idiot who pays 4 bucks to go there instead of pbreview :D) then you dont go there, cause its useless enless your a member.
i was there once, before you had to pay under the name [xtract]..it was big, and now that there is a monthly fee, i think most ppl switched to this forum or pbnation or mntpb or something.

AllO, i resent the fact you just called me an idiot(yes, i paid for paintballcity.com membership)
First off, its back to PBC, he changed it yet again cause people hated PBD.
Second, the for sale forums are still free to everyone, these are THE BIGGEST paintball classifieds on the net, and anyone can use them, so no, it isnt usless to non paying members.

ok yah youre right...that is true, you can still use that section and it is indeed big. so IF you are selling your gun or looking for a gun, then PBC will be a big use for you..but if your not...READ THIS FORUM =)
Oh and im sorry i called you an idioit..i guess i just dont see how you can pay 48 bucks a month to read and post in a forum...maybe if PBC was the only one..but there are tons of others that are growing and will eventually be just as big if not bigger then PBC..i just coudn't see myself paying 48 bucks a month for a website...and if i did..i would call myself an idiot :) sorry

I don't think they would. If the company is pretty big, they'd put it up on their own sites for comments. Tom Kaye does this with his protoypes.

pbreview.com should be by itself beacause everyone will stay here and not go anywhere else. everyone should just come here

I think they should listen to opinons on sites like this and their normal modes of market research should provide some interesting results.
