Tips for a first timer

Im going to an arena for my first time and I need some tips I dont want this in the newbie section because I wnat some experianced advice!

ALWAYS wear a condom...dont rush through it....have fun! Oh wait, ur talking about paintball. :D Then just the last two are relative.

Ignore Anti, he thought he was on the Porn Site again ... Can't tell you much about playing indoors, I spend all my time on Woods and Speedball fields.

However, I can tell you this:

Don't be afraid to get hit. As a matter of fact, you should do a bum rush on your first game so that you will be hit, will know what it feels like and loose your fear of getting hit.

Listen to your Refs, especially when they go over the rules of play and safety rules. As a newbie, you can probably get away with some minor infractions, but then again, if you pay attention, follow the rules religiously then people will probably think you're an experienced player.

Dont' be afraid to take chances. Sometimes the difference between a mediocre day and a Super day is how aggressively you play.

Last, but not Least, Make sure you have Fun. Afterall, that's what it's all about.

Yeah Muck, i accidentally hit the wrong bookmark. :) Since there are so many tips available, ill give one. If ur going to an arena, make an experienced player the team captain and listen to what he tells u at all times. Ull learn many strategies from this "hands-on training." Also, u can ask him why u told u to do those things, and what else u can do to help the team.

Don't be afraid to get shot
Don't get tunnel vision
Don't camp out (Move!)
Don't be intimidated
Don't leave your barrel plug in

Here is my list of do's
Do take risks
Do know who your shooting at (Teammates don't like being shot in the back)
Don know your limits
Do have fun!!

ok to get a good day of paintball you need to:
get a jar of mayonaise and salmon grease and rub it on your forhead as you run around in a circle 6 times. then you have to get up on one foot and sprinkle salt on your hair while yoou say "Kwijibo" ten times :D

Just dont be afraid, dont move, and do what ur team mates tell u. It doesnt hurt, so dont worry bout that, and enjoy it. Evn if u dont get 20 thousand kills, just make ur team mates know ur not a fraid to go around and shoot. And dont shoot ur own teamates, they dont like it, i know form experience

Don't be stupid. i was watching a newbie staying all way in back bunker. I decided to help him out. I told him that there was only one person left which was true i told him to move up, he moved up, i told him to move up again. When i told he the third he was doing good, but he thought that it would be better that when he moved he would look down at the ground, run, and shoot all at once. Guess wut, he was popped in the back b/c he let himself be known. The guy on the other team had no idea he was there. Be smart and look around and notice these things.

yes that part about dont shoot ya own teamates.
I renmber now i was my first paintball game it was for a birthday party and there were 2 kids that i know from school and they were good so they put them 2 where they can
vs. So we each had a good persone on our team.
He told us where to run. (It was a woods field)
and we saw him across the feild and diddent know if he was on our team or not so we all started shooting at him it was pretty funny the reffs were saying DONT SHOOT ay him he is on you're team.

HA HA HA ... funny thing happened yesterday. I'm behind a barrel bunker and taking fire from directly ahead and off to the left. I got the guy in front, then I start looking to the left, I catch a glimpse of someone's BDU pants, and fire twice, both hits right on the Ole Arse. Then I hear "Hey Muck, it's me, it's me ..." Seems I shot one of my Teamy's. OOOPS!! :eek:

On the irony side, he'd just been talking about how someone shot him in the Arse last week.

LOL.....When i got my first paintball gun me and my ferind got the talon ghost as our first gun and i told him to shoot me ion the back from 10 feet POW man i never thought a pump gun can pack that much power at 10 feet so then he told me to shoot him in the back to see how it feeld because he never got shot so i was aiming in the back than i got a funny idea shoot him in the *** i was laughing so much.
