What do you think is the best, a Regulator or adjustable tank? Or is it the same? I want to know because I just spet $140 on a Regulator and I can still take it back.

I got the generation X for $139.99 and he forgot to charge tax. Is this not a good price?

First off that is a horrible price for any reg.
Second off there are many much better regs out there.
Third I would never buy a ANS product. They are not incredibly bad product or anything it is just that every product they make is overpriced and there are much better performing products out there.

my vote goes for regulator and preset tank. Because you can buy a vigilante (pretty cheap) and put on a PMI Pure Energy and get rock solid consistency with no shoot down. The PMI recharge is great but the output is all over the place, but always stays above 550-600 (which is more than your intimidator needs), slap on a reg set at 500 and your velocity will stay dead on, and you wont get shoot down. Put on a "less expensive" adjustable tank and you wont have great consistency or recharge. So you'd have to pay alot more to get a real good adjustable to get the performance of a cheap tank with good recharge and an inline. It's the setup i use and I dont get a dip in velocity at 14 bps full auto, so I can tell you it works great

if you were runnign Co2, you couldve got the Palmer's stabalizer for 89, and if you're running n2, you could've gotten the Vigilante, for 55. The Gen X, i think, isn't all that great of a reg.. and 140..that's just insane..you could've gotten a reg and a drop forward for that..and still have change left over..i suggest returning it and getting the Palmers or the Vigilante..depending on which gas you are running on...
