Ok, yesterday i went to my local field to play and practice for a tournament in two weeks. It was fun, there was only like 5 on 5, and everyone was having a good time. There was no problems at all with people abusing the rules, and everyone, even the firt timer, were having the time of there lives. Then, a bachelor party came in, and rented some guns to have a good time. Still, everything was perfect, for a little while. Since none of them had everyplaed b4, the owner told the 9 of us to play the 15 or so guys form the bachelor party just to experimnet. We played on a 5 on man sup air field, 9 vs 15, and the game lasted 35 seconds, we killed them, we hit 7 people off the break. But that isnt even the problem. Even these 21 or so bachelors were fine with all the rules and regulations, and even the asskickings. Only once was there a problem, becasue osmeone took off there mask becsue they were hit in it, and the got confused. But then the problem started.

A father came in with three of his duaghters, and they seemed ok, they were a little scared but figured theyd give the game a try. There father was sort of out of it, but we dindt think nothign of it. They added these people to the other team, so now it was 19 on 9. We played ona bigger fiels, and eveythign was ok. We were still taking people out left and right, and then this guy (the fahter) runs up the field and stops behind a tree. hit him 2 or 3 times int he back, and told him to call out, or have a ref check. He kept shooting. So a few other guys on my team shot him, and he still didnt call out. The ref funally came over, and called the guy out. He had about 15 shots on him on his first game, and the ref started to yell at him for not calling out. Then the guy talked. He had th worst smell of alcohol on his breath imaginable. The ref walked him of the field, and then the next game started. The guy claeimed to be all right, so the ref let him, but told hoim if hes hit, to cal out. The game started, same thign. The drunk guy raced up the field, got behind a tree, and got hit about 10 times again. He dindt budge. We got a few more people out, so 3 guys pulled a run by on him. We hit him another 5 times, he didnt move. Then the ref took his gun and made him run off.

This was a weird day. Its pretty bad that things like this happen, u get drunk people who think, hey, lets go shoot people. This type of action while palying paintball shouldnt be tolerated, it makes me sick to think people get piss *** drunk, and then decide to come mess up our game like this.

However, it was kinda fun for the next game. The ref told him to leave, but the guy said he had 5o paintballs left, so play one more game. The ref said ok, and then came to talk to us. He set up a 6 on 6 game, that were total chops. He basvally took al the drunk guys daughters(who were alos cocked by then) and a few willing people to get hit against the 4 players on my team and 2 with a shocker and a bushy. We played the game, took out the guys who wee willing, and snap shot the girls becasue we werent gonna kil them. We had already hit the drunk guy a few itmes off the break, but he dint move again. So, the ref told us to go, and we did a doubel run by on the guy, and im talking like 30 or so paintballs were launhed at this guy. It may seem crule, but let me tell u, this guy aint coming to our field again. He left with a total of 45 bruises just on his upper body fomr all the games he was shot in, and he didnt feel ne thing yet. I, just laugihoin at the thought of what he flet like tis morning.

Allthough kicking this guys *** was really cruel, it is really starting to become a problem at our field latley. Were getting punks who thinkn they are just gona shot the hell out of people. It is really bad that our sport has to deal with this kind of rep, that all we do is shoot eachother, and that the *******s are drawon to it. I just really wished people appreciated our spprt and recognized it as a littel more then something to do when there drunk off our their asses.

There's really one rule, keep your mask on.
It doesn't matter if you drink beer,
or smoke pot,
or even f-uck your friends in the bush,
just keep your mask on!

That wasn't to hard was if? :)

I can sympathize fool. I pay at SC arena for practice with my team. All of us tourney players out there are usually pretty cool even if the tempers flare a bit during the game. The problems I have had out there are when some newbie thinking they are hot shiznit comes out and you do something like bunker them and the little wannabe gang banger gets all huffy and says all sorts of crap. They just get special attention next game. "Wow Ref I don't know how he got shot 15 times walking off the field. :)

The worst I have ever seen is two people being led away in handcuffs for fighting by the sheriff. And the guy who said his foeld doesn't care about people being drunk should run if the owner cares that little about safety.

I was just saying how bad it is for the game. But in theis particular instance it kinda cool, becsue ts not everyday u cna bunker someone and shoot as much as u want because the ref told u too. It was the most fun day ive ever had playing despte thsi guy, becaus eit was 9 on 19, and u would shoot people no mater waht. We played a captre the flag game, i ran the entire tape, and got behind everyone of there players, and started shooting them all form behind. I basically cleared the entire back of the field, it was great. In these games, ur gaurantedd 5 or 6 marks a game, and u never even had to wory bout getting hit.

A Damn Fool, I think I read in one of your other posts that you spilled pop on your keyboard. I'm sure I speak for many people on this site when I say GET A NEW ONE! They're only like $20 and it would make reading your posts a lot easier if most of the words were spelled correctly.

no, my keyboard aint broken, i just try and type way too fast, becasue im tryiny to answer ims while filling this out. Ill try and type slower, and when i have some more time, ill edit the post up there.

Ok, wierd place to post this, but I've just got to say it (and this isn't directed at ADF, just the internet crowd in general). I can't stand people that can't type correctly. It's just one of those pet peeves I have. If I had to hire someone for a job, and I noticed that one used 'u' instead of 'you' or 'r' instead of 'are' in chat or something, he'd be the one to go. I mean, how hard can it be to type TWO FRICKIN' LETTERS more?! By spending the extra 1/4 of a second to type those two letters, you make your post look a lot more mature and easier to understand. Also, USE THE SHIFT KEY! Not capatalizing the first letters of every sentance also drives me insane.

Not spelling correctly, I can understand. I know I don't always spell every word right, and hey, I don't know many people that can. But when you're trying to type something out to help someone else, it's generally useful if they can actually read it. The simple solution is: if you can't type that fast, DON'T. I can type ~90wpm, with 1-2 mistakes, which is pretty good. However, I know a lot of people that can't type that fast (and even some that *gasp* have to hunt-and-peck), but they take their time and try to correct any errors. It takes a few seconds to read back over your post and see where you typed 'teh' instead of 'the', and change it.

Alright, I've had too much coffee too early in the morning, stayed up too late, had a bad night's sleep, and it's monday, so sorry 'bout the above post. I just think that if you don't try to do your best with anything, you shouldn't do it at all.

Now, on the topic. I can't believe your field owner let some drunk guy play on his field. The danger is just too great in my opinion. What if he took his mask off in the middle of the game, and got shot in the eye? Or what if he had shot his gun at some innocent person without their mask? Not to mention the bad reputation it gives paintball. EVERY field I've been too has always had a no-alchol and no-drugs policy, whether big or small, official or outlaw. Playing paintball while intoxicated isn't a good thing.

ranchdip, u r 1 odd person

i can type, in general, 110+ WPM w/ no errors but why put out the effort? a chat room is meant to be relaxed-sometimes i have one finger on the keyboard and another somewhere else, like holding a coke, or something, and i don't feel the need to be perfect

one of my friends is like that, has to capitalize and period and comma EVERYTHING so it's perfect, i mean, wth?.. fruttercakes

Yeah confused, I am, erm...different ;).

And yeah, I kind of understand about the more relaxed attitude, but I still see no excuse for it. You can set down that coke, plate, etc. for a minute or two and type a nice post, or you can hold it, spend the same ammount of time, for something that looks like a piece of trash. Chats are a bit different I guess, but you could just not be doing anything else while you're talking. I mean, it's not polite to talk with your mouth full, so isn't it also impolite to type with your hands full? ;)

I know, it sucks to have someone who was drunk come to the field, and decide to play, but the guy was just out there. The reason he didnt get kicked out was becasue they didnt realize it until the game before we bunkered him. After that, they said go have some fun with him, which is what we did. It wasnt right, but we layed a good 30 paintballs on him when he got bunkered by a few guys, and he got the hint and left on his own. I cant belive it though, he couldnt even feel the shots, he was covered in welts from head to toe, and he couldnt fell one of them.

That kind of stuff bugs me too. If I'm looking at one of my old posts, and I realize that I made one little mistake in it, I always go back and fix it. How did you learn to type 90 WPM? I've only had my computer for about three months, and I'm getting better; but I'm only at about 40 WPM right now.
